   Recommended by a friend, we went to get my daughter's school shoes. This was our first visit and we were made very welcome and recieved excellent service and recommendations, coming away with shoes that fitted perfectly. My daughter described the whole experience as "lots more fun that normal shoe shopping".

   I was out for the day and having a look round the town when I spotted this shop, Me and my friend went over but seen a 'back in 5minutes ' so we were about to go to another shop to pass the time but the lady was coming back at that moment she said ' did you want something ' Well we hadn't been in so weren't sure. So I said we were going to go in for a look so she unlocked the door. She then made a comment about how we'd need a child with us to get shoes unless they were for me or my friend. (I didn't think this was much of a mean comment although not exactly encouraging any sales! I understood its best to have them fitted but I was on a rare day put without my son) I said I don't know they come in big enough sizes which she said soem go upto a 41, so yea probably would have fit if I'd have wanted to wear a pair of children's shoes. I seen some shoes I was interested in and asked the lady if they had rubber soles as I like the super flexible soles but with rubber to last a bit longer (my son currently has InchBlue ones and I love them but I wanted to find a shop that stocks these instead of ordering online again) The shop lady said that the shoes I'm looking for aren't for walking children just ones that are cruising. While they may be intended for that purpose, she lost a sale as they looked very similar to our Inch Blues or I'd have had another set of InchBlues. Everything about our presence in the store felt like an inconvenience for her and was not welcoming in the slightest. I guess our faces didn't fit or something. But I won't be back that's for sure.

   Whilst here for a weekend away we came accross this lovely shop with the possibility of buying something for our grandchildren.on entering the shop the lady straight away asked what was I looking for ? To which my answer was I'm just browsing thanks.i couldn't quite believe my eyes when this rude woman actually rolled her eyes at me ! I continued & said "as you do when on holiday " The woman's reply was..." I wouldn't know ,I've haven't had a holiday for ages" I was embarrassed to say the least & left the shop. Now I know why it was empty !!! A sure way to draw customers in...NOT !! I work in a shop and if I reacted to potential customers like this I wouldn't be in a job now. A Very rude woman !

   What a brilliant shoe shop, i wouldn't trust the measuring of my children's feet to any one else, this lady is a professional and really males sure everyone's shoes are serving the correct purpose and are long lasting, well worth the visit and shoe quality is excellent.

   Gorgeous Childrens shoe/clothes shop in Kirkby Lonsdale - the lovely owner could not have been more helpful or patient with my 4 year old granddaughter who had definite ideas about the shoes she wanted !! I would strongly recommend this place for your Childrens shoes - great selection of school shoes too for the new term! Thanks again - I would certainly go nowhere else #shoplocal
