Nice pub cash only but they have a free cash machine inside. Best known for the cobs honestly they are amazing inside and out side seating. All under covers also have heaters out the back.

The Anchor Inn is a village pub well known for its fantastic cobs and a wide selection of traditional beers and ciders. Unique and a must place to visit. Renowned for its generously filled cobs, cheese, ham, or beef with fresh salad. It's not complicated, and why should it be! Huge selection of ales with all the friendly atmosphere of a family run independent pub. A real gem in the country.
Absolute gem of a place, huge amount of seating outside and all under cover. There are also some heaters to help keep you warm. Sandwiches (cobs) are superb value. Only cheese, beef or ham but amazing as they are very generous with filling and the side salad is a meal in itself. Parking can be tricky at busy times but worth a visit and very dog friendly.
One of our favourite places. We park in Kinver and walk down the canal towpaths to the Caunsall Road bridge and then road walk for 300 yards. Steady walk takes approx 45 minutes, then you are ready to tuck into food and drink. Cobs, beers and locally made pork pies. You really couldn't want for more.
First time iv been here.. came for a wake.. but have heard about the cobs... absolutely amazing... great value.. staff are brilliant.. lovely country pub.. smallish inside but customers are all friendly.. an the out side it massive.. great job guys defo come back
Excellent service and brilliant food. Went for the cheese and onion Cob while friend had the beef. Both filling and tasted excellent. Would definitely recommend and call in quite a few times.
Lovely village pub, with possibly the finest cobs (beef, cheese or ham) in the known world, served with copious salad. Gets busy of a lunchtime, and with good reason! Not the largest selection of ales but what there is is well kept and very quaffable. Well worth a visit, but remember they don't do cards - cash only.
