Wife enjoyed the pie as did I. But the few chips being fried and microwave type not good. also the brown water gravy was tasteless. Service very good but missed out on blue light discount if we ever come back.

Great pub with nice food and fab atmosphere. Added bonus of showing live sports on the big screen TVs dotted ariund throughout the day. Our boys come here as often as possible after their football games and the pub kindly puts on free food for them. Pizzas, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, Sausages and chips. The kids love it! If you're part of a football/sports team and you'd like to have somewhere warm, friendly and sociable to go to after a game, get in touch with the Brints and I'm sure they'd sort you out!!

We booked our Christmas party at the Brints. The table was beautifully laid out and our waiter was friendly. We don't always receive such a warm welcome when we go, so perhaps more effort was made as we had booked a Christmas party. The food was okay. The starter and pudding were nice, but my main veggie option wasn't great. Overall I think everyone enjoyed their food choices. Service was attentive and we had a lovely night. We'd definitely book again.

This particular visit was a big dissapointment. We have been several times, but value for money appears to be declining in a big way. The picture attached represents a £13.99 meal upgraded to 'double fries' at a cost of £2 extra. When challenged the waiter agreed to talk to the chef. The waiter return to say the chef had in fact placed extra fries on the plates. When offered a manager , Sam explained quite plainly that he saw the orders plated and saw the double portions placed on the plates. We ordered 3 meals with double fries, and feel that £6 value of fries were not provided. At first we decided we would not order double fries again. After the replies from staff we feel we will take our family gatherings elsewhere in future. This is a shame as there is nothing inherently wrong with the place. It just seems that either the Brintons Arms or Marstons in general have raised prices and cut back on portions to maximise profits. If this is double fries, I feel like a standard portion would not even be a handful of chips. Not a family friendly place when hungry teenagers still feel hungry after 'double portions'. Sorry to say we will celebrate our birthday's somewhere else in future. It doesn't feel like a treat to go here anymore. Looking at other negative reviews it seems that these problems arr merely dealt with a contact us to discuss further. That is not good enough when the opportunity to amend issues is when they are raised. There was NO intention to fix my 'issue'. The staff made it feel like the issue was me for expecting too much! Certainly no 'the customer is always right' here! If you are prepared to pay good money for not alot of substance this is the place for you. How dare anyone expect more if they aren't happy!

Been going to the Britons for a while now and the food has got worse over time order two dinners and both come as not described on the menu. Staff are very friendly and helpful the pub itself is a great pub to have a casual drink in but I will not be eating here again until standers have changed

We visited on Mother’s Day! From arrival we were greeted by the very welcoming bar lady, she had the “nothing was to much trouble attitude” which made us feel very welcome! The pub was clean, well laid out and easy to navigate (we were a table of 7) and I had a 2 year old and a baby in a car seat, we had a lot of room unlike some pubs where they sandwich you in. The food was quick, hot and very well presented (compliments to the chef) & the home made pizzas were to die for!!!!!! Service was great, the table was cleared very promptly between courses. We spent roughly £130 which is very reasonable!! Every piece of food was eaten, puddings included. Thank you very much.. we will be back!!

Had a nice meal here. Went out during a week day and easily found a table - we were quickly served too which was great. I had a nice lasagne which was very cheesy and hot too - burger was nice too! Fairly priced.

Had family Christmas get together on Friday night. The choice of drinks and food was perfect, ordered food separately but it was all served together, brilliant. The pub was full but this did not effect the waiting time. The food was cooked perfectly and everyone enjoyed it.. great night thank you brintons arms

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and had service with a smile. The staff checked to make sure everything was ok with our food and were very polite. The food was really good and to a great standard. Also it was easy to order from the table and we didn't have to wait long for our meals.

Popped in for lunch. The chicken and bacon club Sandwich on granary bloomer was excellent quality, couldn't fault it. Lovely crisp chips on the side too. Speedy service. The whole place was spotlessly clean, including the loos. Highly recommended.
