Against my better judgement went in again for a hot drink on a cold day...had already been there before and was told they were not serving as they were cleaning...but today as I sat drinking my not so hot drink, two ladies came in, one holding a young child. They picked up a menu and were choosing somewhere to sit and asked for a high chair for the child only to be told by the young girl behind the counter " we don't have any, there is no room for them in here". REALLY, CafΓ© Verde?.....young children like to come in from the cold too. I felt really sorry for these two ladies and child that I had to write this review. This CafΓ© is in a great location and I would like to think that you would do Haworth proud and look after our visitors, even the little tots.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The pink haired waitress was extremely rude and abrupt. She seemed annoyed to even seat us as soon as we walked in. Then later, proceeded to rudely march up to the table and accuse me of stealing a water bottle I paid for a few minutes ago. She was very aggressive and seemed like she was about to cause a fight. After the incident with the water bottle, she went back to loudly talk about it to her work colleagues behind the open counter and they all just stared at us and made us uncomfortable. The table was dirty and covered in food and plates. We asked twice for them to clear the table because after the first time they cleaned other peopleβs who came in afterwards. We were ignored for 10 minutes whilst waiting for someone to clean the table. The food was mediocre at best and not a great selection. Itβs also quite dingy and cramped inside. There is a great place just across from it I would recommend to go there instead.

We tried this cafe last year and was ignored when we walked in after standing there for a few minutes, so walked out. Thought we would try again this year and it certainly hasn't improved! The young girls behind the counter didn't greet you and although they cleared the cups away from our table, they didn't come back to clean it! Instead of feeling valued as a customer, we felt as if we were a nuisance. The table next to us had ordered some food and whilst a couple of items arrived, they had forgotten one person's order. We wouldn't recommend this cafe and will certainly not going back again!

Lovely cafe in the middle of Haworth. Really friendly staff and we enjoyed our food and coffee. Plenty of choice on the menu and a welcoming atmosphere. Both dine in and takeaway option on the menu.

Disappointing experience. We were expecting nice, cosy atmosphere on a rainy day but got quite the opposite. It was cold inside, espressos were terrible, desserts were too expensive for what they were, lattes were alright. Hopefully, service and quality will be improved as it's a nice location.

I went to this cafe, because sadly the cake/tea shop nearby was closed that day. As soon as I came in the place, the person behind the counter could not wait to tell us that 'this was out of stock, that was out of stock', so in the end I ordered 3 coffees, 2 cakes and a toastie for myself. I could not believe it when I was charged Β£26 yes Β£26 for 3 coffees, 2 small over sweet cakes, not warm coffees, and a small toastie. I would have argued except there were 2 guests with me. Never never again will I visit this place, when for Β£16, I could have ordered a 3 course meal from the pub down the road. If you get charged money such as this, make sure you question it first, or just go elsewhere. This is an absolute honest experience, I have the receipt to prove it, and it spolt my entire day as I felt totally ripped off by a cafe which had nothing to offer, not even a decent view, just an old corner round table, with staff that were on their phones most of the time, and they totally ignored us when we left.

Really disappointed; spent 15.00 on two chocolate cakes, a hot chocolate and a vanilla latte. The vanilla latte was far too strong, more like a regular coffee, with very little milk. Also, they turned away lots of customers claiming it was very busy even though there plenty of tables, barely anyone sat inside. Will not be returning.

Serving probably the most delicious Scones Iβve ever eaten in UK! Coffee likewise perfect. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, charming view from their terrace. Try itβ¦!

Lovely seating, good set meals. Be nice if scones can be warmed up. Tomato and basil soup's thick and tasty.
