Very nice food service with a smile. But we did have to wait a long time for the food to come out. If you're not in a hurry then worth a try..

11/11/19 edit. Have to lower this to 2 stars. Condiments are no longer in nice pot containers they are now in the cheepo greasy spoon type, like you get at burger vans. Condiment pots are grubby and in tacky plastic baskets. Prices have increased and portions smaller. A small chip cob having a 50% increase in price and it's now £4 for a cheese burger.... Sorry you priced yourself too expensive for a little highstreet cafe. Might as well goto spoons, £1.50 more and you get a free pint. Its sad really, the foods still great, but it feels like the small things are now being missed, the things that made this place a really nice cafe. Wouldn't recommended it now. Old 5 star review follows... This cafe is a little gem. Traditional food, cooked perfectly at a good price. I really can't recommend this cafe enough. They have the best fresh home style cooked chips in the area. They also have a daily specials board that usually has home made pies, roasts and more. For those of you in a rush, they will even do take away items for you. For those with a sweet tooth, they have a good selection of fresh home cooked cakes and desserts. Visitors in cars are also catered for as there is a car park opposite, a 30 second walk away. The only negative I can levy is caused by being a victim of their own success, sometimes it's hard to get a seat!

Great food, great prices and food variety and great service. Couldn't believe how low the prices were for the quality of food that was served. Definitely worth a visit if you are on the area. Its even open for Sunday lunch and its less than £6 for a big size lunch. Awesome guys. Thanks
