   I had gone shopping at Mere Green shopping centre on Friday 19/12/25 at 15:45. When I was about to leave, my car wouldn’t start and the battery light came on. As I was near the National Tyres garage on Hill Village Road, and my car was due to have its full service and MOT there on Saturday 20/12/25, I took the opportunity of walking there and explained my situation to Natalie. Both Natalie and Amir kindly drove me back to my car; jump started the battery and offered to fit a new battery immediately. Can I give both Natalie and Amir a massive THANK YOU for their kindness, help and professionalism. Halford team members such as they are very special and a credit to National Tyres. Thanks again.

   Went to National Tyres to get a bulb replaced, turns out the light was full of water. Luckily the service is amazing and they were able to get rid of the water and replace the bulb. I was really happy with the service and all the workers are really friendly. Had a great experience would reccomend.

   I would definitely recommend this garage to anyone. The young lady that works at this establishment is a credit to your organisation, knowledgeable, pleasant helpful and hard working. While waiting for my vehicle I witnessed her ordering parts, checking tyre pressure on other vehicles, efficiently organising staff, who I have to say are equally polite and helpful. I have previously had a bad experience at this garage, which was a while ago. The new staff have obviously turned it around, credit to them.

   Had my MOT at another garage and was told I had a nail in my tyre. I called and spoke to a lovely lady who immediately understood my predicament and managed to book me in on a Saturday at very short notice. The team were friendly, carried out the repair quickly, and even asked what time I needed the car back. They called as soon as it was ready and everything was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be using them again.

   I had a fantastic experience at National yesterday. I took my car there as I was concerned about my tyre pressures as the warning light on the dashboard was still visible despite filling them all up that morning. I was seen by Dave, who was so kind and offered to check all the tyres to make sure everything was safe and also manually reset the function on the dashboard. Honestly, the service I received was fast, efficient and stress free! I will definitely be using National in the future, I highly recommend!

   I visited National Tyres and Autocare on Hill Village Road in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield last Friday as I had a puncture. I have been to them numerous times as I find the service excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Spoke to Thomas and Mark who firstly got me a good deal on a new Good Year Tyre as the other was unrepairable. They not only changed the tyre but put my spare and jack back in place. Very impressed again.

   I attended my appointment 10 minutes earlier than scheduled only to be told that I shall have to wait for some time as they had a car on the ramp. In normal circumstances this would be fine, but the bald chap that said this came across with a rude attitude and then took me over to my car saying I have two bald tyres on the front of my car and he probably couldn't do the tracking. At this point I thought it was best to walk away and told him it's OK and I'll go somewhere else. This is when he backtracked slightly and said he can still do the tracking. At this time, I was ready to go into my car and ready to drive, so he then comes over to me and stands right next to my face saying what my problem is. This is the first time I have been confronted by an employee of a "professional" company. I have a feeling he has done this to many other Customers who may not be to his liking.

   Avoid unless you want to be lied to and ripped off. Dealt with Mark at this tyre centre. He CANNOT be trusted. I went there last week needing a tyre changed to pass my MOT. This guy took advantage realising I was in need. I asked for a Mid Range tyre to be fitted, he put on a budget tyre (without me realising) and took payment of £88!! On another occasion they were very deceitful by telling me my appointment was wiped out the system and then tried to sell me more expensive tyres because they "forgot to order the ones I asked for" DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS
