   Alright pub, stopped off here on the way home from an event. Outside looks great, inside is in need of some TLC (paint peeling off the walls, cob webs and spiders dangling from the ceiling). Lady behind the bar greeted us, though she didn’t seem that happy about it. It gave the impression “a local pub for local people”. Beer selection was decent! And the food menu was large and we were all amazed by the low prices! Two meals and two pints came to about £20. Food was what you pay for, not bad cheap pub grub. Fair little stop off point on a long journey for a emergency meal and a well needed pint

   Not eaten recently but has new management, a few alterations and looking good. Sky sports now and large covered outdoor area with pool table and large screen.

   Steak night. 2 starters, 2 steaks and 2 drinks £28 ... amazing food, and very friendly staff. Big portions and all home cooked. Will definitely be back xx Starters were amazing too! This is a must to visit x

   Great little pub that I dived into on the off chance for some food whilst traveling back home to Cheshire. The special of braised steak that I had was first rate, home cooked and really tasty.
