   We had a wonderful dinner at this small hotel and couldn’t fault a thing. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, with a real sense of care in every detail. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Each course felt thoughtfully put together and perfectly paced. What really stood out was the friendly and attentive service — professional yet relaxed, making the whole evening feel special without being formal. A hidden gem that delivers excellent food and a lovely dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a charming setting.

   Comfortable and cozy setting, pleasant bar staff, lovely menu, quality food, good menu selection, reasonable mid week price and had a very pleasant evening. Thank you for looking after us. Only one request, please can you put on more Guest ales we were gutted when the one Ruby Ale ran out on being served but there were no other choices not even in bottles. Other than that we had a perfect evening thanks.

   Large car park, large pub in general. Room was big too, plenty of room. WiFi is decent for work. Great food but the cooked breakfast was really good value. Glad I'm here for a few days.

   Booked for me by my work. I always give 5 stars. Large comfortable room with kingsize bed. Fairly clean and with the usual tea and coffee offerings. No complimentary shampoo or shower gel unfortunately. I had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on it. Important context: My experience was a 1 night stay and does not represent this establishment in it's entirety. No-one in hospitality sets out to provide a poor experience. Anyone can have an off day

   Only stayed one night. Comfy bed ,good night sleep. We arrived was told which room we were in .Booked in . Not told anything about breakfast, but was charged £9+ for large breakfast ,2 of everything. My wife and I didn't manage to eat it all. If we had been asked we would have chosen the smaller breakfast. It was well cooked and we enjoyed what we had but such a waste of food
