Very nice food and drinks and at a good price. Lovely decor. The bacon sandwich could have used some butter or a choice of sauce as it was quite dry. We didn’t know if it was table service or not as we weren’t informed and would need to ask the waitresses to order food/drinks.

Lovely peaceful little cafe. Excellent service and lovely fresh food. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. The menu isn't extensive but the quality is high. Nicely decorated and very clean. Vegan and gluten free food available.

Kefi hosted my baby shower and it was absolutely stunning. The charcuterie boards were luxurious and beautifully presented, the cakes were delicious and home made (the brownie is just to die for), the soft warm focaccia bread complimented the grazing table…. It was just all around a beautiful experience and you could tell Kefi had put in an overwhelming amount of effort. The staff ensured everyone had a warm or cold drink, and the afternoon flowed so elegantly as we were looked after so well. One thing that stood out was their catering to dietary requirements, we had celiac, vegan, and pregnant attendees. The owner beautifully segregated all of the boards to suit each diet and labelled everything up whilst still ensuring the presentation was of a high standard! I genuinely recommend hiring Kefi to host your special events as the building is so beautiful and gives such cosy vibes.

Tucked away lovely food place. Bright, light & airy inside. Everything cooked fresh while you wait, highly recommend the Greek toast with added halloumi & the pear/ginger delicate tea. Good quality ingredients well cooked. Parking across the road in the little car park, good prices Definitely be back

Cute cafe around the corner from the station. Stopped to have lunch before catching my train back. Lots of delicious veggie and vegan options. I went for the hummus, pepper and avocado sandwich which was served with crisps and a salad

I had Kefi omelette which was perfectly made, warm and delicious. The girl who works there is nice and polite. The place itself is nicely decorated and feels cozy. Prices are medium-high.

Decided to go for breakfast at Kefi. Couldn’t see their menu posted anywhere so decided to add it here. They have a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan foods. My partner went for American style pancakes with bacon. It came with a stack of pancakes with bacon layered underneath and a good drizzle of maple syrup. Pancakes were very fluffy and sweet. He really enjoyed it. Whereas I got the “fun guy”- with added bacon. The sourdough it came with was fresh and fluffy. Avocado was nicely seasoned, topped with garlic mushrooms. My partner also tried it and said we should come again so he can order it for himself. On a side we had fig and goats cheese parcels - those were so delicious. A good amount of filling in a crispy filo pastry with a mini jar of onion chutney on a side. The food was delightful and the portions were just right. Good deal for the price. As for drinks, I had lotus iced latte. As a fan of biscoff I had to try this and was not disappointed. Came topped with whipped cream, lotus biscuit and drizzle of biscoff syrup. A dessert in a glass. Mango iced tea which my partner ordered was sweet, tangy and refreshing. Usually homemade iced teas are bland without much flavour. However, it was not the case this time. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I’d like to come again to try more items on the menu.

Stunning cafe. Sandwiches were faultless, for £6.95 we got some amazing sandwiches accompanied by a lovely salad and a fair amount of crisps, the perfect brunch. Best place in matlock hands down compared to the cheap others. Quality food and the coffees are great value as we got plenty for our money. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone

Popped in to shelter from the downpour, got a little tea and cake. The cakes were delightful and really generous sizes! I am in love with the tea set they have too!
