   Been a few years since we last popped in. The new look is lovely and homey. Warm and festive. Excellent service and a good Sunday roast. We had the turkey and beef. Good spot to try again if you're in the area.

   Thank goodness for the new landlord Ryan. He has turned this place around. It’s warm and welcoming, the place looks fab and love that he interacts with the customers. Have been for lunch today and it was lovely, a pianist made it for me and my little boy who was dancing away. Thank you, see you again very soon.

   Since Ryan has taken over, this place has become a local gem. The changes made have changed this dying boozer into a proper special local pub. Highly recommend for families and couples alike, looking for a pint and great food. Thank you Ryan, youre a star!

   Used to be lovely and in a lovely spot and is reasonable enough. The building is also very nice. The service I couldn't really knock although the 2 Roast Dinners we ordered (albeit on a weekday) tasted like they were microwaved from the Sunday when you are too hungover to finish it and decide to have it on Monday for your dinner. Wouldn't go again to be honest. Not for food anyway.

   My partner and our 2 grandchildren got a drink and ordered our food, we ordered 2 burgers and cottage pie. We sat and waited for around half an hour when we was told that there was no cottage pie. My partner ordered the fish and chips. And anyone knows eating out with a 7 month old timing is everything, between feeds nappy changing and keeping them entertained. After around an hour and 10 min our food arrived. The fish and chips looked OK and my partner said it was OK but the burgers were dreadful, dry and tasteless never had a worse burger. With the long wait and disappointing food I can't see us returning. Maybe we just got a bad day but wouldn't want to waist my time and money to find out.
