Came here to watch football and Bottomless Brunch, the staff were excellent really friendly and the service they provided was excellent. Always ensuring we had drinks even though the pub was extremely busy we never waited long. The food was also good will definitely be returning and also recommending to friends.
Had the festive bottomless brunch this evening and what can I say, Sam and Lee were fantastic! Always on the ball (pardon the pun!) with the drinks, was never sat without and the food was delicious. 100% recommended and will be back again for sure! Thank you

I go to The Old Ball almost every day with my colleagues, and it’s always a great experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which makes it a really enjoyable place to relax after work. It’s also very convenient, it's close to both my workplace and home so it’s become our regular spot. Another big plus is the free parking; you simply enter your registration on the iPad inside, and you’re sorted. Overall, it’s a brilliant pub with great service, great prices and a really good location.
Great boozer - family friendly through the day and a good pub to go to on a Friday evening making the most of the happy hour. Staff are super welcoming. The burger really surprised me - great value!
great place for a few drinks on a Friday/ Saturday night. great atmosphere, good music being played at all times. the staff are great and fast to serve, even during busy periods, especially Abbie.
brilliant atmosphere, good beer. the young lass behind the bar, abbie, was stand out. nothing was too much and she was very helpful
The old ball appears to be struggling at the moment and it's understandable with running costs and decreasing footfall. The pub is well laid out. It was noted that there was only one bitter on and no cask ales - not even any Guinesss. Lagers tasted flat and we're poor. They probably need to chop down the lagers and get some proper beer in. You have to feel sorry for hospitality industry, it's been relentless.
Really a great place to spend your evening.... Watching your favourite sport and having a good tasty food
