   Purely a catch up meeting of old primary school friends youngest of us was 61 lol ! Lovely staff excellent beers at very reasonable prices ! Plenty of draught ale plus the usual commercial brews each to there own. Can't comment on food or rooms but if they match up to the hospitality,staff and beer you're onto a winner.

   Great pub, lovely atmosphere, cheap drinks. Hotel rooms are fantastic, great price, immaculately clean. Just perfect for what we needed. Would 100% go back.

   A great proper pub. Plenty of seating, inside and out. Nice selection of beers, ales etc. Bike nights Thursdays (don't know if it's every week). Lost my glasses there tonight so if you found them please hand them in or let me know.

   Fantastic "local" pub, nice rooms, excellent beers and a really decent pint of Guinness. Staff and locals very friendly and welcoming. Nice beer garden with plenty of seating. No frills, quirky, full of conversation......... definitely my sort of pub.

   Well known and popular pub in elsecar, beer is always good, friendly staff, never stayed at hotel so can't comment, nice beer garden, ideal for families, worth a visit if in the area

   Extremely friendly pub with warm, welcoming staff. Dog friendly and has dog treats on the bar for ye pooches. Quintessentially old fashioned (in a good way!) pub with more rooms and space than appears from the exterior. Beautiful, gorgeous, tip top floral displays with troughs and baskets - great enticing kerb appeal. Has some outdoor benches to the front, but also an additional outdoor seating area to the rear with plenty of sheltered seats. Residential and also has a function room for hire. An innovative range of four cask beers on, none of which I had heard of before: Acorn Brewery's Old Moor Porter, Welbeck Abbey Brewery's Ernest George, (which is a deep ruby ale with chocolate hint) Acorn Brewery's Barnsley Gold and Abbey Dale Brewery's Daily Bread, which is what I had. Heartily recommend this establishment and is one I would return to when in the area. Keep up the glorious 'floralness', has more enticing lure quality than one might think. Fabbohs!
