   Unfortunately first night disappointed straight away...room is really outdated and in need of repair and definitely a freshen up. There's dust, it smells a bit and even the bed sheets smell musty. There's also a few hairs I found in the bathroom and even a long hair in the bed! Below standard, not worth £200ish for 2 nights and I was expecting the room to look nice, modern and clean as shown online.. Got one more night here but unfortunately won't be staying again.

   I recently stayed at the Diamond Lodge Hotel and had a very good experience. The hotel itself was nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable, and I really appreciated how well they had vegetarian/vegan options.The complimentary biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch and made the stay feel even more welcoming. Overall, a great stay and I’d happily return.

   Me and my grandparents stayed here for a weekend, we had one accessible room and one double room. The rooms were clean, the staff were absolutely lovely, and so accommodating, and the location whilst near a main road is perfect for going towards the city centre without having to stay right in the centre. The breakfast had a good range of choice from cereal, to fruit to toast and a fry up sort of thing. The man in reception on both the Friday night and the Saturday was absolutely amazing and I unfortunately didn’t get his name, but he deserves all the praise as he was just an absolute joy and definitely made the time spent any time sitting down in the bar area worth every second. Overall it was an amazing stay, and I quite liked the old style feel of it with the key instead of the typical card you swipe, made my grandparents feel at ease knowing it was a key lock

   Although it’s a 3-star hotel, the service truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were exceptionally attentive, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Everything from check-in to checkout was smooth and hassle-free. The rooms were well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, making my stay very pleasant. What really stood out was the hospitality—it felt more like a higher-rated hotel because of the care and effort the team puts into making guests feel welcome. I genuinely enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great service and comfort at a reasonable price.

   Wow, what an experience that was. I'm not sure how this is listed as a 3-star hotel. My shed is cleaner than this place. There was dust all over the furniture, and the bathroom was on another level—there was mould everywhere. Nasty. We stayed one night, then packed up and left in the morning. I've never stayed in a hotel this dirty. I understand it was a cheaper option compared to other hotels in the area, but the level of service and cleanliness was absolutely mind-blowing—in the worst way. I thought I’d have some coffee in the morning, as there was a kettle with cups and some coffee provided for guests. But after seeing the state of the kettle, I decided not to take the risk. See the photos. How is any of this acceptable? This place should be shut down due to serious health and safety risks for guests.

   We booked a room to stay after been at a driving experience. The hotel was easy to find. It was lovely, clean and tidy. The staff were polite and friendly. The room was lovely with a comfy bed. We enjoyed the breakfast and the range they had on offer. We would definitely stay again.

   The whole hotel was exceptionally clean , well furnished and tastefully decorated. Staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were excellent could not fault. Breakfast was exceptional and truly amazing , complimented by excellent service . Will definitely stay again and recommend to everyone.
