An absolute godsend for us - stumbled across this gem somehow and booked for the end of day one of Pennine Way. Good communication prior re leaving car there - and organising lift that offered from the end of the walk back to the accomodation. One of the nicest welcomes you could ever get - and great value too! Lovely area too (photo taken of view out of bedroom window to the back) Rooms spot on for our needs - and even better just 2 mins walk to a pub (had stopped serving meals by 8pm but allowed us to do deliveroo to there so we sat and drank beer and ate pizza & kebab in the beer garden!) A cracking breakfast the next day - fresh fruit, cereals, full english, toast, homemade marmalade, juice/tea/coffee and a lovely chat with the amazing host Sheila who showed us the visitors book going back to 1976. That says it all - no one lasts that long doing anything, unless they have got it right! Highly recommend.

A fantastic stay in a B&B run by a lovely host, Sheila. Sheila picked us up from the end of our day's walking on the Pennine Way and dropped us off the next morning at the start of the next day's walk. We were running late when we arrived after a hard day over Kinder Scout. Sheila phoned the only pub in town to ask the chef to stay on to make us dinner. I was travelling with a friend. Our rooms were in an annex with its own separate access. We got great rates for single occupancy of twin rooms. The room had everything we could want and more. Loads of toiletries, loads of coffees and teas, biscuits, bottled water. Really comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Fresh fruit, cereal, cooked vegetarian breakfast, great coffee. We walked for five days on the Pennine Way. This was day 1. We never found a better place to stay! Highly recommended.

I called this farm and he answered happily. I said I saw your house on google and asked about renting it as son as he heard me clearly he said in an abrupt way βno we live hereβ I could not understand why he didnβt want to talk to me , I thought may be itβs my Turkish accent :)

White House Farm is a traditional B&B located in stunning countryside with a view right across the valley. Lots of walking nearby with access to Glossop and surrounding hills too.
