   I've rated this as a five star as I believe previously this place has suffered some bad reviews. It's not a 5 star place, It's not fancy or modern. It was warm enough for me and comfortable, peaceful and a short walk to the train station. Excellent value for money, half the price of the Travelodge down the road. I will likely stay again in the future.

   As soon as we entered the room it was freezing cold,the window was left open, and it's now November, there's no hot water,and the room smelled musty, we will never stay here again

   Looks lovely on the photos, but in reality it's a definite STAY CLEAR. Very Cold and Damp all day. Hot water doesn't exist, more water on every window than a water fall. Bedroom very cold and damp, TV didn't work, large spider behind TV. Bed uncomfortable , no socket available to plug one of the bedside lamps in. Sit in any chair, anywhere in the building and it will be damp. PARKING Spaces are limited.

   Staff had an awful attitude from start to finish. The room was awful and In desperate need of an update. Toilet in one room sink to wash your hands in another. No shower. Toilet was used before we arrived and not even flushed. Everywhere was locked so confined to the room only!! Dark dingy and unwelcoming.

   This is a lovely hall with lots of history behind it; with large grounds and a great atmosphere. Whilst the rooms are a bit dated style and comfort wise, you can tell there is a lot of love put into the place by the current owners.

   It's alright if there's no where else. We stayed in the "bridal" suite which "isn't used very often". Funnily enough, it's a health and safety hazard. The floor has a significant dip in the center and a 4 inch piece of wood under the bed foot. The bed itself is comfy but will wake the neighborhood if you roll over, the decorative cover had a nice big hole in it too. The bathroom door doesn't shut, so I hope you're comfy with whoever you're with. There is no hot water and the shower doesn't work. There was a big jacuzzi bathtub but nothing worked. There was a good bit of mould on the ceiling above the bed and I found some crushed Rennie in the drawer. There was no key for our room either so we couldn't lock it. Place was somewhat clean. Our friends were room below and it wasn't bad, some loose tiles and things but it was filthy, stains on the pillows, skirting boards had black stuff over the top of them, a nice mouldy bible in the drawer. It reminds me of a run down residential home and there's no food on site. Staff were friendly but I wouldn't go again. Couldn't imagine having a wedding there FROM £4395. It was funny how bad it was. I did order a cot for my baby but that wasn't there, I was too afraid to ask just in case it was gross or fell apart.

   An excellent venue. My daughter and son in law had their wedding here on Saturday. Jackie was amazing and an absolute star, making us all feel relaxed and had everything in place, from when we arrived till we left on the Sunday. The grounds were fantastic for the photos, the wedding meal was excellent with lots of compliments from our guests. The rooms were clean and if we needed anything they were happy to help and sort things out. We slept well and the breakfast was good (compliments to the chef.) A good day was had by all, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

   We had the all inclusive wedding package at Wincham Hall, it took the pressures away of having to find our own florist, photographer, cake and car. Each of the suppliers they provided were amazing and provided a excellent service. The wedding day at Wincham Hall went perfect and everything went so smoothly. Not a thing I would of changed! Thankyou Jackie and the team for making everything go so well x
