   Excellent service every time. So knowledgeable of their stock so always able to make a recommendation based on the needs of the client. My son has ASD and shoe shopping can be extremely stressful for us, we come back year after year for his school shoes as it makes so much difference when the team are accommodating and understanding.    Took my baby to be measured for first shoes. I'm very particular about my children's footwear and left clarks dissatisfied with the measuring process, so thought I would give this place a go. It was above and beyond expectation (after reading the Google reviews). Both ladies serving were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and good with the baby. They fitted expertly, knew what they were doing and were patient and ensured we got exactly what we needed. I was really impressed with the range of stock they held for a small store, they had Clarks, Start-Rite etc in the latest styles. Will be using this place as my go to from now on.

   Stean footwear is a small well established shoe shop in Melbourne parade in west Chelmsford which offers excellent service and Geoff Stean is an expert shoe fitter who is is very committed and helpful owner of this family business. He caters mainly for children and also older people with foot issues and is often recommended by local podiatrists fir his excellent range of specialist footwear, I went there on recommendation from my podiatrist and got two pairs of Padders shoes which were carefully measured and fitted for me and I have already felt the benefit of one pair in my walking! Well done , Geoff! It was a pleasure to meet you and visit your shop!
