   Bought a pair of boots in the Chelmsford branch November 9th. On the shoe box the pricing label said £34.99 and it was the correct shoe no miss labelling but when at the till they scanned at £39.99, the retail worker said there was nothing she could do and we had to pay the £39.99 even though it was clearly false advertising to me the customer as thats not what the shoes label said. I am a retail assistant myself and sympathise as i have scenarios like this happen too. HOWEVER in my place of work the price the customer sees is the price they pay even if it scans up differently on the tills because the till price is not what the customer was advertised and expecting to pay. So in my opinion this situation was handled very unfairly and completely wrong.

   Great for school shoes. Can measure up easily using the measurement tools. Staff are helpful when requested for assistance. Enough space to walk and see and feel if they are comfortable. Average durability from their own brands but decent value. They also do Clarks and Hush Puppies for greater durability.

   Staff are always very polite and welcoming, however I find their shoes run about 1/2 a size large. I also bought a Fila back pack from them about 2 weeks ago and upon getting it home and opening it found it smelled strongly of a fishy odour. Thinking it might be from the packing material, over the last couple of weeks I have washed it twice and left it outside to air and the smell will not go, so big waste of money. I would advise the company to look into their stocks and check this.
