It's a year since we stayed with Kelly and Paul at the Windmill and we still talk about the enjoyment of it. Wonderful hosts, lovely room, fab food. Paddy still hasn't got over his serving of rhubarb crumble! Highly recommended!
A gem of a find, from the moment you walk in your nostrils twitch to the beautiful aroma of scented candles giving a feeling of relaxation. Sunday lunch carvery was amazing. The rooms are beautifully clean with everything that you need within them. Only 6 miles from Manchester airport.
Amazing pub/restaurant, Hubby and I went back to our little gem which we found and we were shocked! This pub has changed to a Diamond. This pub has changed so much ,fabulous decor,Kelly and Paul made us feel so welcome. The food was freshly cooked home made and tasted amazing well worth your money!. We highly recommend this pub. There is a large room for families to dine not just for couples.
And amazing little gem easily accessible just off the Chester Road (A556 M6 J19). Alot better option than the services down the motorway. Having had a recent management, a redecoration of the bar, rooms and conservatory have turned what was.a run down boozer into a destination pub with great food a true northern welcome.
Stopped for lunch and food was fantastic. The pub is beautifully decorated with lots of original features and the staff were very friendly. They had a great offer on 2 main meals for £15. My only issue was the drinks were really expensive at around £11 for a pint and a glass of prosecco.
Lovely pub and the food was great. Stopped here for food on our way from the liverpool ferry. The staff were lovely and let us order food with only 10 minutes until the kitchen closed. Portion sizes were good and the price was very reasonable. Probably the best sausages and mash iv ever had out and my son loved it too.
We booked in last minute for a Birthday celebration. Warm welcome received from staff, they were really accommodating as we wanted a slightly earlier check in. Room very clean and spacious. Highly recommended staying here if you're in the area. We had an evening meal and some drinks, again this was lovely. Staff warm, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Can't recommended enough!
Lunch visit - 4th Nov 2022. Great food (I had gammon) and good drinks - decent lagers and cider. Would like to stop there as a guest at some point in the future - looks like a great setup. Me and my little Poke-Pal enjoyed our visit.
