Good location, flats equipped to relatively high spec. Unfortunately services advertised as part of tenancy are no longer offered, or at the same quality/frequency as they were pre-COVID. Rents rise each year, services are cut, facilities aren’t maintained, upkeep of apartment block is near to non-existent.

Carole Gaskill has always been an absolute star whenever i have dealt with her in terms of tenancy agreements / Greengate amenities etc. Been living at Greengate for almost 3 years now, would highly recommend this place to someone who has recently moved here (because of great location and reasonable rent price) as well as recent graduates as lots of easy access transportation around if you wanted to prolong your studies e.g. master & phd. The concierge are also the loveliest bunch!!! Always looking out for you and give you recommendations for places to visit if you are new to the city!! 10/10 staff - great building :) AND PET FRIENDLY WHICH IS A BIG BIG PLUS!!!!

It is an okay place to live, but the problem is when you leave. Apartments are okay, quality is sufficient but not great standards. There are brilliant people working at receptions, cleaning staff and in the office like Emma or Ian from maintenance. The issue as I said is when you leave. Unfortunately the property manager is someone called Carole Gaskill and it’s a pain to deal with her. We have never seen her or heard of her until we left actually. I feel kinda sorry for her, she’s probably going through something in her private life if she is so frustrated with former tenants. She gave fake references to my partner’s new landlord making him fail his application and lose his holding deposit. She lied about him damaging the property and he’s lost over £200 on the new flat. At Greengate we paid deposit and 6 months rent ALL UPFRONT, over £11k transferred to them in seconds. We have been respectful of the property and the team at all times. When we left we forgot to book the end of tenancy cleaning (you can book it directly with them at £140 for a 2 beds). We’ve already returned the keys, so I sent an email with my apologies for the inconvenience and asked to be deducted from the deposit. The checkout report was okay, property was tidy but obviously not professionally cleaned, a few scratches on the sofa and on a couple of chairs. But that’s it. They deducted over £500 for cleanings (???) and the rest to repair the upholstery and replace a light bulb. We agreed and had over £1000 deposit refunded to us. We made no big deal. But when my partner gave his new landlord Carole’s contact for references, she made such a big deal stating he DAMAGED the property for £700 as he was SEVERALLY LIABLE. Nothing in the property was damaged and on the checkout report the word DAMAGED is nowhere to be found. He was able to show it to his new landlord and they agreed with them she lied. When he asked Carole to give references again she refused, stopped answering the phone and faking she was in a meeting for a whole day. If you want to rent at Greengate ask who your property manager will be. Is it’s Carole Gaskill, stay away and look elsewhere.

5 star! We lived in Greengate for the last 4 years and the experience is just the best! Everyone from the excellent 24 hrs concierge team, house keeping, maintenance and the management go that extra mile to make things happen. Special mention to Carole and Ian who make sure they connect with the residents and always ready to listen to feedback and concerns. the apartment itself is in a strategic location making it easy to commute and shop!

I have lived at GreenGate for over three years and the experience has been excellent all round. The quality for the apartment and the facilities were great but more importantly the friendliness, efficiency and professionalism of all the team was second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GreenGate to anyone looking for a hassle free and comfortable stay in Manchester.

The whole experience of Greengate is excellent. From booking a viewing, moving and asking for help when it’s needed. All staff members have been friendly and helpful. They are always there when needed for help and advice. I don’t think I’ve had to wait more an hour to get a response from and email or a maintenance request. Staff were helpful when helping with my moving van when we moved in, helping us with parking spaces and quick access to the building. The gym is excellent and they have a great 24hr concierge, who again, have kind and helpful staff at hand to help. One thing that I’ve found quite cool is everything is managed through the free GreenGate app. Messages, maintenance requests, gym bookings amongst many other things are all done through the app. Simple and convenient. Does the job. I have rented in many places around the country in my life and the GreenGate experience has been my best by far.

Moved to Greengate end of December 2020. I'm a particular guy with a lot of worldly experience, I travel a lot for work, but I have not had one complaint with Greengate accommodation to date. I'm an avid gym goer and the on site facilities are great. The 24 hours concierge team are super nice, some of them I chat to like mates, which I really appreciate, especially when I was new to the city. Then there's Carole who works in the offices, who whilst I have not met in person yet, she has gone beyond the call of duty to help me and make my time enjoyable, a lovely lady who I'm very grateful for. I moved from Bournemouth to Manchester for work, not knowing anyone here and Greengate has made it that much easier!

Oh i loved this place. So much space and clean at all times. Well secured with a lounge a gym. Good place for a walk in the night if you're not sleepy. Ijn between all the blocks there's so much place to hangout downstairs. Too bad I did not click pics will add a few next time I visit. The apartment is well decorated with simple colours yet looks elegant. Colors of grey and creame welcome you. The music at the lounge is good. Staff are non interfering and never interrogate you like all the other places. The best part it is a 5 minute walk to Arndale shopping centre. To say it's a 5 minute walk but the surroundings architecture will keep you busy and you won't feel like a 5 minute walk. Has the Manchester Cathedral right round the corner. A small canal that captures your attention and the scenery will want you capturing moments. I'm adding a few pics of what surrounds the place. Will click pics of the building itself the next time I visit. Sainsbury is right beside the building under the bridge. Aldi, tesco, boots and many more are all just 7 minute walk from the place as its all in the Arndale shopping centre. There's a huge paid parking spot in front of Greengate plus one behind. So you won't have issues to park
