The gym facilities don’t make much sense to me, since there’s no barbells/squat rack or cable machine (which are universal and multi-functional), but instead there is one chest press machine which really limits the variety and functionality of the space. Would love for the gym facilities to be improved as that is a big selling point for me given the high rent price. I can see that some of the facilities seem to be a work in progress as the building appears to be updating certain aspects, so I’m hoping the gym is taken into consideration, as it is a large space which I believe is currently not being used efficiently or effectively. I believe the parking availability (which is managed separately to the building) is also WAY too expensive, at £102 a month, whereas other places in that area charge £50-80 a month!! So for the residential parking to be that expensive I think is a horrible decision. Not Burlington Square’s fault as far as I’m aware, more so on the company (Domis) that manage the residential parking facility. The car park is incredibly empty so it feels to me like a complete waste of space, as people understandably appear to not be renting it due to the very overly-priced cost. Aside from these issues, I absolutely LOVE living here! I really want to mention that the receptionist during the day time, Yoana, is an absolute delight. I feel surprised not to see anyone else mention her in any of these reviews, because I find her always so incredibly helpful and friendly, a real pleasure to talk to, and she reflects this wonderful presence across the board to all residents! I’m always seeing her treat everyone with kindness and respect that truly goes above and beyond, and thanks to her I have felt incredibly safe and at home, as she has not only been lovely but also answered all of my queries, and as a result I feel so much more secure about where I am living. So thanks to Yoana for helping to make this such a wonderful environment for me to live in! The reception area itself is also well decorated, and I’m looking forward to seeing what else gets upgraded in this building as I continue to live here. Love the ability to access the parcel room at all times, as well as the ability to text reception 24/7 with any queries, and the building also hosts events every so often for residents which I think is such a lovely bonus.

I’ve been living in Burlington for a year now, and I can say that I’m generally happy with the residency. The building has many positives: It is new and very clean. The reception is very nice inside and always warm. There are also places to study, a gym, and a communal kitchen. You can also collect your parcel at any time throughout the day and there is always someone at the reception to help you. Wael (a receptionist at Burling Square) has helped me with every single issue I’ve had, and is always polite and eager to help. I always hope he’s the one behind the desk when something goes wrong. The location is also very important. I am a medical student at Manchester Medical School and being so close to the Main Campus and the library is extremely important to me. It is just 10 minutes by foot. The building has its negatives too. The first one is that even though it’s new - many things keep needing maintenance. This means that appliances are not of the best quality. The refrigerator stopped working 3 months after I moved in, and the shower after 5 months. This brings us to the next issue, which is maintenance. You can never get anything fixed without following up with Burlington EVERY SINGLE DAY for about 6 months until the managers decide to do something about it (only after you threaten them). Again, the receptionists were the only ones actually helping resolve these issues. I think that – maintenance aside – Burlington square is a nice place to live. I would recommend it for students.

Well maintained building, great facilites: cosy seating area and lively, gym instalments are good enough. I want to give a special mention to Wael, and Badr the receptionist they are friendly and always ready to give a helping hand.

These are new build flats which means they’re not of the highest quality and our flat has required maintenance you wouldn’t expect of a newly laid building. I’m addition, there is no handyman on site at the moment so any minor issue takes a while to get solved because it can’t be handled in house, which is a shame considering how much tenants pay. I would also add that the offsite managerial team are not responsive at all which can be very frustrating. That being said, the building is generally well kept inside and when maintenance is required it does eventually get handled by the building, even if it requires following up on your end. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Wael who goes above and beyond for everyone and is a big reason I enjoy living here. Forewarning that living next to trinity school and football pitch can get loud, including on weekends when grown men take to the pitch and kick footballs into the building and shout as if they’re in the premier league final. But the location is otherwise pretty convenient.

I really enjoy living at Burlington Square. It is quiet and the area feels safe. The reception are very diligent and helpful, especially Wael who makes the building feel well protected and gives me peace of mind for myself and my deliveries and is great to talk to after a long day at work. Thank you guys for making this place great!

We really enjoy living at Burlington square apartments. Being a student at the dental school, it is an ideal place to live and also isn’t too far from the centre of Manchester. The apartments are very comfortable and modern. We particularly like that there is a communal area to study/work downstairs and the gym is great too. Wael is always very pleasant and helpful with any questions we have - Danielle and Hugh

It is a social apartment and all rents do not include bills. He has a large room and kitchen, but the surrounding supermarket is far away, and the football field downstairs will be a bit noisy. It's a great place to live if the budget is right!

nice place, but unfriendly reception (impolite, no smile), particularly when they are helping u in dealing with your parcels.

Clean building and neighbours are friendly and quiet. I wasn’t sure about the area at first but it feels safe and a stones throw from Asda Hulme. It’s a family friendly building (which is nice) so if you have kids or it could be ideal for you. Marked change in the site teams attitude too which is now more approachable and friendly. Thanks guys
