Horrible customer service and policies on returning non-functional electronics is bullcrap. Never going to buy from Argos again. Purchased meta ai glasses that don’t work properly and they refused to allow a return. 400 pounds wasted. Buyer beware.

I had great experience today as I went to purchase a fridge to Argos Speke, Liverpool shop. I was attended by Stuart. His cheerful personality , great costumer service , product knowledge and his willingness to go above and beyond made my shopping after a very stressful day, really. I will be definitely coming back.
Ordered on Argos last night for delivery for today. I was given a time slot of 1:30-3:30, I then received a phone call at 4:15 telling me that my TV wouldn’t be delivered today. I rang this store as this is the store the delivery driver had come from, after being transferred numerous times I was told that the order would still be delivered, ring back at 6 if not. Got a text message at 5:55 to say it won’t be delivered. Rang through again and was told I would have to wait 24 hours to for someone to ring and rebook it, meaning I’d of had to wait over 24hours to receive the TV. After asking many times to speak to a manager I was finally transferred through, only to have an automated voice telling me the call was over. Poor communication, lack of empathy and just unorganised mess.
My experience was disappointing. No any staff around to give me a hand so I leave the shop and back to the local one to buy what I needed.

Absolute joke after 3 days of trying to place an order to be told error then directed to virtual chat who asks 1 question then leaves the chat tried to ring the store 2 be told we cannot answer your call sent an email which they replied go to virtual chat Absolutely disgusted will take my order elsewhere will not be using argos in future!!!!
Collected a bin a couple of weeks back that was damaged and the staff just didn't have a clue how to deal with the situation. Even worse was that the bin is not out of stock and they're unwilling to assist in getting another from a different store and expected me to make a 40 mile round trip due to their error! If 0 stars was an option I'd have given it this!
