Currys PC World is a convenient place to shop for electronics, with a wide range of products all in one place. It’s useful when you want to see items in person before buying, especially larger purchases like laptops or appliances. The store is generally well laid out, making it easy to browse, and staff are available if you need help or advice. Overall, it’s a practical and reliable option for tech and home electronics.

Bought and paid for an item the guy serving me Sam on 13th of December took me to 3 different tills then asked me for the last 4 on the card I paid with I give them him he tells me they're not the right ones I said impossible as that's the only card I have so he asks again and I show him the banking app with the purchase listed and the card number he then says do I still want the item, well obviously I've paid for it, won't be using Currys again, only ever had issues that I've never had anywhere else, always some sort of problem. Sort your customer service out and certainly don't try and make the customer out to be a liar.

I rarely do reviews but Ben at Currys Chester impressed me so much yesterday when bought a Tassimo Coffee machine. Absolutely great shopping experience with Ben, who, it turns out has only been working at the store for three weeks. Still learning procedures. Honestly, such a knowledgeable and charming young man. Quietly confident, very engaging, NOT at all pushy and a pleasure to deal with. Easy to talk to. Best of luck in your job Ben and Thankyou.

Excellent service from Abbey at the Chester store today when we went in looking to try the new Meta Ray Ban glasses for my wife. The Meta display was set up but we were too early for the Meta people to be there but no worries because Abbey kindly let us try her Meta glasses and they were brilliant for my partially sited wife. We have now purchased a pair online from Curry’s (as when we checked they were out of stock at the Chester store) we couldn’t purchase them there and then as we wanted to make sure they were suitable before I cashed in some work vouchers to buy them with. Again brilliant service from Abbey and she put my faith back in Curry’s staff :-)

Went in to buy a washing machine and waited a long time for anybody to give us any assistance. We eventually managed to find a young male member of staff who was very helpful and helped us to narrow our choice down to two machines. We decided to go for a coffee to talk through our options, before returning to the store. The young man we had previously seen was dealing with other customers and so we waited, and waited before another sales assistant came to us. All I can say is that this person is definitely in the wrong job. Not as knowledgeable or polite as the first person and so we left the store without making a sale.

Went into the store to spend about £1800, new Television and a new Dyson vacuum cleaner….. Went upstairs first to look at different makes of cordless vacuum cleaners and a lady in that section was very helpful, and we said we were also going to buy a new TV at the same time, we went and looked at the TVs……Store was very quiet at 5.15 pm and we looked at varies TVs, no staff about by the TVs so we went searching for someone that could help us as the guy said it wasn’t his section …… Waited for an hour and no one came so we asked another guy who also said wasn’t his section but would get someone over ….. Another half hour went by yet again no one came to help so we gave up and walked out of the store not even buying the vacuum cleaner as we were so frustrated with the store!! Was a total joke !!

Walked in store to check out a few items we wanted, then waited for a sales assistant to arrive to offer advice or to help us with them none came over after 45 minutes of being in the store, so sent the daughter to find someone, a sales assistant stacking items said he would send someone another 20+ minutes passed, I was ready to leave as all other store assistants were playing around with their phones, when I spotted Fiona from white goods she asked if I was OK, and then she went out of her way to help us get the items we wanted even though it wasn't her area, she even ran through the whole process of my blue light card as its all changed since I last used it. I can't thank her enough for her time and patience due to the poor signal in store. If it wasn't for her we'd walked away. Fiona is worth 5***** on her own

This store is located on the gray hound retail park just outside Chester. The store is larger than the average Currys store including a small second floor. The store is laid out well with products in clear sections. Within each section you find hundreds of demo products, to encourage you to try before you buy. Parking is no problem as the store has hundreds of spaces including several disabled bays. Disabled access to the store is good with a customer lift to access the second floor.

Bought an LG Oled TV as it was on offer and you got a free sound bar with it. We bought the TV at the beginning of October and was told the sound bar would be in stock in 4 days. Never heard anything so went in to be told end of October. Still heard nothing and its been over a month. We bought this TV specifically because of the deal and feel like we’ve been conned into buying something and had no communication what so ever.
