Awful rude staff more interested than chatting than serving and the manager patronising towards staff in front of customers
Bought a pair of sandals from Wales while on holiday. They seemed too small so ordered a bigger size and they were sent to the store in the outlet centre, Chatham Dockside. The staff were absolutely amazing, letting me wander up and down in both pairs. Top marks for your service.
Went to Pavers in Dockside Chatham today 5/5/2024 @ approximately 4pm. There was a lady and man at the till who were both workers. I can understand that occasionally it can be a tiring day or you need to chat for a while to your colleague's. I was willing to by a pair of trainers, I was in the store with my daughter for 15 mins +. Not once did someone acknowledge us being in the store despite me continously looking in the direction of the till. They could see that I was looking at different styles and sizes. I didn't know what style to pick. My daughter was shouting " come on mama pick one !" . Still no one came. I usually have good experiences at Dockside. No customer service, no hello , no smiles despite having 2 workers and no customers. I will not return again. It's also disappointing as they are being paid by the store and they are not prepared to work!

Nice shop layout, easy to find your size and browse the choice available. Good display at the front of the shop. Staff ask if you need assistance, if you do they are very helpful and patient, if you don't they leave you to look, and if you let them know you're ready for assistance they come then.
