I was very surprised by how unfriendly staff is in this shop. I went early morning with my son and the shop was pretty much empty. I would understand if it was and of shift in a busy shop. I was ready to buy a pair of shoes for my son but decided to leave and buy it online

Avoid this store at all costs !!!! I visited the store to get my daughter some shoes, the staff member who was serving us was rude, had no patience, did not interact with my daughter at all when my daughter was getting distressed and upset. She was met with a member of staff telling her you’re making it worse for yourself, and she was using force with my daughter and trying to squeeze her foot in order to keep her still. My daughter is 21 months old I told her I thought her comment was uncalled for and rude, she said do you want to speak to my manager I said yes she walked over to him smirking and said she wants to talk to you about me, the guy who I believe is the manager of the store came over and asked what was said, I told him what happened he said well she didn’t mean it and it was stressful for staff to measure people’s feet !!! He said he would measure her feet but he again was so rude and dismissive, my daughter was so distressed by now and he said I’m refusing to serve you I said your not refusing to serve me I’m not spending my money here. Another blonde girl in store also joined in standing at the desk talking about myself and my daughter whilst I was still in store, standing there laughing and smirking. They refused to tell me higher management, I will be taking this matter further I am not at all happy I found the staff extremely rude, there is no customer service in this store at all. I will never be shopping in this store or with this company again, my daughter has possible special needs this was explained and also dismissed, the staff should feel ashamed with their behaviour.

Lovely experience looking for some Oxford brogues, had Nicola helping us find the right size for me and arranging an order for a new pair as the pair in store were a tiny bit scuffed. Nicola walked us through getting a pair delivered to our home that would be brand new and helped us apply a discount we were worried we couldn't use. Thank you Nicola!

We bought 3 pairs of school shoes (same model, different sizes) to try at home and return two. Was offered a free school shoes care kit and told that I still won't be charged for it when I return the two pairs. I didn't look at the receipt which was put into one of the shoe boxes as I was charged £150 which agreed with the charge for 3 pairs of shoes. What an unpleasant surprise we had when we returned the shoes and received £82 instead of £100 back. It turns out that Andrew C who was serving us discounted one pair of shoes by £18 and charged us for the shoe care kit £18 (kit which we didn't want and were told we are getting for free irrespective of the fact that he knew I will be returning the two pairs). Not to mention that this care kit is not worth £18, I never wanted it in the first place and was offered it free of charge. Lesson learnt - always check the receipt even if the amount ties back. £18 is a lot of money!

Bought these lovely pair of shoes but in black. All staff were very efficient and helpful. Shoes were very comfy with the added bonus of 15% off with a Blue Light Card

One of the few remaining shops where staff are friendly. Maybe they work on commission but many of them said hello, our server went out of her way to help. The shoes are pretty expensive but the service matches it..you walk out with a smile.

Shoes are expensive but you get what you pay for. My last pair of Clarks shoes lasted about 15 years so this pair should see me out!

Still lacking trendy shoes for men. It's always difficult to come across a size 8 for men in Clark's stores that doesn't look from the ages of the Saxon's. It's 2023, Clarks!

Absolutely awful experience! I used to work in Clarks before but a different branch, and the staff here were rubbish, so many customers including myself were left unattended to. People on kids were holding tickets waiting to be served as well when it was barely busy. The girl who served me threw the shoes on the ground and sighed when saying here are your shoes. And before I left my friend had to alert a staff member that a customer needed help - do no recommend! >:(

Clarks really came through for me today- returned a pair of school shoes which were purchased in February this year (unworn, hadn't even come out of the box and had receipt still) and they happily allowed an exchange and partial refund for the difference. I was seriously impressed by this, and also the service I received from Andy, who went hunting for size 8s for my son.... and actually managed to find a pair my son liked! Thumbs up all round. Top customer service.
