Great building Does what you expect it too. Cheap pints. Busy.

Building is amazing. However the food is concerning, found hair on my chips, at first glance I considered it could be mine. However Later on my Misses Plate also has hair on her bacon in her Burger. This was unpleasant and really put us off our food. I expect better from a well known Pub.

Yes, it's a beautiful building, but we ate here on a quiet mid-weeknight and were really disappointed. The food was OK (you get what you pay for!) but everywhere was absolutely filthy, we struggled to find a table that wasn't piled high with dirty glasses or plates, there was rubbish on the floor. The waitress cleaned our table after she brought over our drinks, but only because we asked her to, and although there were plenty of staff around no one seemed to be clearing things away or wiping tables. Not a good experience, worst Spoons we've been in.

Hands down the most gorgeous Spoons I've ever been to (and I've been to lots) It's absolutely stunning and feels really special. Totally love the Opera House history and so glad they preserved as much of it as they have. The Alfredo pasta with added chicken and maple bacon was so good. And my daughter loves the Ramen Bowl. Can't fault the food, service or atmosphere

We were walking past this building and at first i thought it was an old casino because of the gaming machines. But when we wandered in, we were surprised and in awe at how beautifully restored this old opera house is. Take a closer look around, especially the upper level booths. It is very pretty. Better yet the drinks are cheap!!!!! Lots of older folks here drinking so you know this is the place to get a cold one. They had an enormous menu of EVERYTHING. Apologies I forgot to get pics of the menu but it was impressive. We only had a couple drinks here and we were enjoying the people watching. According to signage you can book reservations for dinner for two people max in one of the opera booths. Awesome.

Definitely worth checking out the maddest Wetherspoon location in U.K. Absolutely brilliant venue with a cool vibe. The place itself is five star however the food is a let down. Ordered the American cheese burger which arrived as a tiny dry tasting burger with a small amount of sauce on a plate with a few chips. Lacklustre.

While a lovely venue, extremely disappointing visit. Slow service and extremely reduced menu. So hard to order any food as nothing in stock. Steak meal was badly cooked and my daughter's Pigs in blankets were burnt. When asking the manager about this I was informed that is how it comes. Will not be coming back. The person next to us only had half their order delivered as well. Not the usual standard I have come to expect from Wetherspoon.

A beautifully presented Wetherspoons with all the character of the old opera house and all the value of Wetherspoons. The service was friendly and quick and the food, was nicely presented and excellent value for money, it tasted great too.

Wow what an impressive building from the front and stepping through the entrance it gets better but that still is not anywhere near as impressive as the main dining area. This has got to be the best pub I was visiting London for the week and just had to get on a train and visit just to experience this place and then back to London. I love how it literally feels like they did their last performance and the next day opened up as a wetherspoon pub. This place really is worth a long distance travel just to experience it I did and I loved it. Also the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was great. This place deserves more than the maximum 5 stars.

Worth a visit just to see the stunning interior. Otherwise it's just a Wetherspoons with the usual offerings - fairly priced drinks and pub classics menu. I didn't eat but the ale was in good form.
