I had a fantastic experience at ECCO, all thanks to Caroline, who was just a gem. She was attentive, super friendly, and honestly, we need more people like her in the world. She’s bright and proactive, and she really lifted up the whole EECO brand. Definitely deserves a promotion : )
I had a very disappointing experience at this store with the manager, Caroline. I came politely with my receipt and faulty ECCO sandals purchased only three months ago, asking for a replacement or repair under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Instead of helping, she was extremely rude, refused to follow the law, declined even to document her refusal or accept the sandals for inspection, and told me to leave the shop. I have worn ECCO shoes for many years and always trusted the brand, but this level of treatment is unacceptable and damaging to ECCO’s reputation.
Very Disappointed with the Service I’ve been a loyal Ecco customer for years, regularly buying around 10 pairs of shoes a year. Just two months ago, I bought 6 pairs from their shop, and now one of them has already come apart at the front — clearly a manufacturing fault. When I returned to the shop to show the issue, the lady who served me was completely unhelpful. She dismissed it outright, saying in her opinion it wasn’t a manufacturing problem. I even showed her my receipts and explained how regularly I shop with Ecco, but it made no difference. It’s disappointing to see how little they value loyal customers. I expected better quality from the brand and better service from the staff. Based on this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering whether I’ll continue buying from Ecco in the future.
I arrived at 6.30pm on a Saturday and the shop is meant to close at 7pm. The two staff members had decided to lock up & close early. After a minute or two of me knocking on the door asking why it was closed when it was meant to be opened, they finally opened the door and rudely informed me that they were short staffed and they couldn't help what was written on Google. Very rude. If they'd just opened the door, apologised for having to close early, that would have been a much more preferable experience and I would have been understanding. Doesn't feel good to be condescended to by shop staff!
Fancy apparel store on the famous Oxford Street.
This rating is low due to the fact there is a much larger ECCO store quite close by. The selection here was quite poor so I went to the Oxford Street branch which has a more extensive range.
The sales assistant Elijah was very professional,extremely friendly,good customer service and I had a really good experience at the store in Oxford Circus.I didn’t feel pressured to buy my shoes and I was kept well informed of my options.I’m really happy with my goretex shoes.Thanks Elijah for all your help!
I was today at the shop and, I bought a pair of shoes, the service was nice, like usual, but when I want to pay the s.a. Maciej tried to sell me a cream which was visible very dry had big cracks and was half empty. When I asked him if this is normal he said yes and insisted to give me that one, then I asked to open another one which was full and not dry at all. In the end I bought the one that looked good and new. I understand that the s.a. need to recommend those care products but I don’t find it appropriate to insist to sell a product which he knows that is far away from being good. Perhaps the manager should take a close look at this care products and recommend to Maciej to don’t do this again, this was offensive and I felt like he wanted to fool me.
