    Been before and really enjoyed , disappointed with today's visit, pleasant cafe really nice place, took mother in law today and the chips served she didn't like the look of dark brown and greasy , and she said they tasted burnt, approached the counter and they felt there was no problem, heard comments from them as I sat down which I was gutted about, took a bite of my jacket potato and wasn't impressed with the chilli, felt most appropriate to leave and not make a fuss, just as we was leaving they came over with some fries (which when I complained they never mentioned about replacing the chips it was more of a other people like um and I thought that would be the end of the conversation) but by that point was disheartened as I had said to my mother previously that this place was a little gem and we should visit, Won't be going again If anyone can tell me how to post a picture on here I'd be grateful so I can post the egg and chips so you can make your own mind up I hate doing negative reviews as you can see from my previous reviews normally very positive

    Sorry but it’s clearly very cheap ingredients they use here. Soggy buns tiny sausages awful bacon, and the pies… I’ve never tasted a bad meat and potato pie before. Use cheap ingredients and you get cheap tasting food. Maybe take pride in your cafe stop cutting corners for maximum profit. The prices you charge you can definitely afford to buy more premium ingredients. Tried the place a few times now each time had something different each time it’s been vile, today I tried a pie… never again. Time before I got chips and egg was told the chips are homemade… they are frozen chips and the cheapest ones you can get. Stop being cheap as chips…. Take pride in your food by not buying the cheapest ingredients you can find shame on you as a local cafe.

    Took our orders, then continued to serve them in different order. People coming in 10 minutes after us sitting and eating whilst we are waiting 30 minutes for simple orders. The customer service is awful very nearly asked for my money back. Food wasn't too bad but not worth a 30 minute wait. Gone really down hill since it changed hands, shame. Won't be going again unfortunately
