Ordered a set of clamps that were discounted and only available at Stourbridge. This is not my local store. I drove to collect them, and only one was in the packet. Brad, a manager in the store was great, he sorted out some others that were sold separately to make a set, and did a good will gesture. I didn’t have to ask for this, he made sure I got what I needed and didn’t put me out any further. I was so grateful, amazing customer service like this from Brad should be commended. He was an excellent example of professionalism, kindness, helpful and overall made a difficult situation so much better. I will now drive that bit further to this store because of his customer service! Thank you… great guy!
AVOID! Went in today to collect a DEWALT set and drill bits for it. It was ordered on my step dads business account so only had the name and order number. I gave her the order number and verified what it was before she brought it out. When it came out she asked for the name on the order which I gave. She then looked me up and down with disgust and stated that she needed the home address, phone number, email address and bank card that it was ordered with. The 2 other employees at the desk started being rude to me for absolutely no reason. I called my step dad and she spoke to him on the phone saying there was nothing that she could do as i didn't have the card that it was ordered with due to an “increase in fraud”, I feel discriminated as i do not believe that this would happen to any other customer. Will not be going back here ever again. Rude staff.
I've been to loads of Screwfix stores and this is certainly one of the very best there is. Always a very friendly welcome at the trade counter. Everything is handled efficiently and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are good, in particular Steve. However, Manager Mandy is outstanding. If Head Office gives out any form of recognition to staff, then they need to be giving one to Mandy. A Five-Star person!
Collected my items today via the new tablet system . Behind me was a elderly gentleman standing with his receipt to collect his items. He was quite bluntly told to use the tablet. He looked absolutely bemused but instead of a member of staff taking 2 mins out of their busy day standing around to explain it to him and show him, he got ignored. I showed him how to do it and where to input the number, which I don't mind at all but not my job to make a customer feel less uncomfortable in their store
My plumber sent me with a list to get some items, I don’t really go out due to my mental disability, I was feeling anxious going in, approached a member of staff and showed her a list, she said that’s long, use the tablet, I told her I don’t know what I’m looking for, she pulled a face and in a rude tone said I’ll do it for you, I couldn’t stand there any longer as my anxiety and emotions took over, I had to walk out.
Great always manage to get what I need. Great friendly staff.

First class service as usual. Ordered 4 items yesterday 3 were in stock with the other items on 24/48 delivery. Had a text at 9-30 this morning confirming all 4 items were ready for collection. Brilliant service and excellent staff at Stourbridge branch.
