   Could have been lovely but was let down by the sullen and bad attitude of a member of female staff. They have no semi or skimmed milk, no cakes and no decaf coffee. No please, No thank you. Just rude. A real shame

   Till staff was on phone and stood there while she finished texting then she jumped realising I was there. Had a chicken ceasar wrap and one side was rock hard, sale and the other side was mushy, the chicken was hard, the one slice of lettuce was mushy, could barely taste the gooey translucent sauce (obviously been out for a while) barely any fillings. Came with 8 crisps and a tiny bit of rocket with no dressing, straight out the bag.

   Dapa has had a revamp and it is looking fabulous! Clearly under new management and with consistent regular faces, it’s great to see. The new sandwiches are brilliant too - glad to see it getting back on its feet!

   Dapa is a really interesting independent coffee spot in the heart of Formby village. Surrounded by chains, it is a rare and welcome change of pace! The decor is different, interesting, and to some a little odd. But personally I'm a big fan, and appreciate the risks they took differentiating themselves from the local competition. Service was quick and efficient. The coffee is INCREDIBLY bitter, at first. But once you get past that, it's actually very nice. The latte art was okay, which immediately makes it better than almost every other Cafe nearby, but there's definitely still improvements to be made here as the milk clearly wasn't textured right (see photo). Highchairs and outdoor seating were both available.

   Had a toastie here today with my wife. They were £6.50 each, so you would hope they were half decent. Got to be said, I’ve made better toasties at 18yo after returning home drunk after a night out. I was embarrassed for the staff having to serve them if I’m honest. Minimal filling, no butter, under toasted and the crisps on the side were stale. The most underwhelming sandwich I’ve ever been served, I would not have minded so much if it cost me £1, but it didn’t. We’d also ordered a croffin, which is essentially a croissant shaped like a muffin. It was stale and had definitely been left out overnight. This is the first, and hopefully the only, time that I would advise going to the costa coffee up the road.

   Hired the venue for a party and it was amazing. The venue speaks for itself, but a special shout-out needs to go to the staff. Di who was my main contact was really helpful throughout and she is also a lovely person who made the night more enjoyable. The rest of the staff were super helpful and friendly too. I look forward to booking again in the future

   We decided to take a pass on the local Costa and give Dapa Coffee a try today 02.10.2022. After calming T-Reb we entered quietly and found a quiet spot that resembled the local National Park. Lovely peaceful little coffee house with cakes and beers for use on the school run. Back to what you want to know, Latte and coffee Orio Cookie concoction that the lovely member of staff advised that she normally does as a bit of a show stopper on both were amazing. We shared as you do Lemon cake and Rocky Road both well especially the Rocky Road one of the best richest tasting versions we have had. Good show all round special thanks to the member of of staff with the show stopper good to have share a bit of pride in what you do it makes a difference in whatever we do, thanks again.
