Been to the shop for the first time. Had a fabtastic experience and prices are really affordable. 5 stars well earned!
Always busy, worth going for reasonably priced sports wear and footwear. The lady in the till was lovely and helpful.
Katie in this store has been amazing with me and my lad. He recently got into Pokémon, and finding products has been mental! I started speaking to Katie, gives me a little heads-up when they are puttting new stock on the shelves. That way, I at least have a chance to pop in and see if we’re lucky. Without you, this little adventure with my lad would never have lasted — especially with so many people buying just to resell. Thank you so much!
I went into Sports Direct Rochdale to return a faulty item and spoke with two members of staff who were polite and understanding. But then I had to deal with the so-called “manager.” What a complete waste of time. Arrogant, rude, and clearly unfit to be in any kind of customer-facing role. He flat-out refused to help, smirked while telling me “absolutely not,” and seemed to actually enjoy making the situation worse. Zero customer service skills, zero professionalism. I left feeling furious. Took the same item to another Sports Direct store where they refunded me immediately, no hassle, no attitude, just proper service. Rochdale’s branch? Never again. I’ll make sure everyone I know avoids it too.
Supposed to be. Brand new trainers but the last pair had scuff marks on the right shoe and well worn, we asked for a discount as obviously not brand new only offered 5% off and then non refundable was adamant this is all they could do very abrupt and would not give out their name for putting an official complaint in about the experience. I don't think I will be returning to this store again.
The whole store is dirty, look at the stairs that give access to the upper floor, it is completely filthy, it has not been cleaned for several days or weeks. The entire floor of the store is filthy.Prices and products are not bad but the cleanliness of the store in general leaves much to be desired
Lack of staff and the ones that were there were as useful as a chocolate fire guard! Looking for something in the store and when I did find a member of staff to adk the response was 'somewhere at the front of the store' no offer of showing me where. Goods are reasonably priced but not customer focused.
Store has good relaxing vibes. Was served by an incredibly handsome employee named ellis, he helped to find a quality headset for a suitable price, would recommend to any budding young gamers looking for a decent headset
Super Cheap branded sportswear. Have bought many shoes here for myself and my family over time. Always great quality and brilliant prices. Need a few more members of staff but when you find one they are helpful.
I would have liked to have put no stars but alas this is not possible! Today I tried to purchase a pair of trainers. After waiting patiently behind a queue of people also waiting I politely asked a sales lad if there was any chance he could call for more help. This led to a direct no, I said that will be a lost sale then. I replaced the trainer on the shelf and turned to leave. This led to the staff member shouting it wasn't his fault to my back. I politely reminded him I only asked if he could get more help and he might be better going to ask. This resulted in him starting to shout that there was nobody and implying I was causing trouble. I walked away and joined the queue at the till to ask for the manager. I spoke to the Manager who I got the clear impression from that I was in the wrong because they are short staffed and get a lot of trouble from customers. It does not surprise me in the slightest that this company is suffering when they treat customers so rudely. I will never visit this shop again and I suggest they teach some of the staff some good old fashioned manners. A sorry at least would have worked wonders!
