First time trying Taste in the evening and honestly, what a treat. We were three adults and one very overtired toddler, and from the moment we walked in the newly refurbished space felt warm and inviting. The team greeted us so genuinely that we instantly relaxed. We ordered cocktails and wine to start, along with prawn bites and lentil donuts, both absolutely delicious. For mains we shared the lamb dosa, paneer makhani, and chicken chettinadu with plain rice and butter naan. Every single dish was outstanding: fragrant, perfectly spiced, full of flavour without feeling heavy. It is such a joy having a family-run place nearby that brings something truly different to the area. And a huge thank you to the staff for being so kind with our noisy, tired toddler. They chatted and played with him, which took so much pressure off us and made the whole meal even more enjoyable. A brilliant evening all round, we will definitely be back.

Hidden gem in Greasby. Being an Indian myself and to find a lovely little South Indian restaurant/cafe was a lovely surprise. Quite casual and non fussy. Went for early evening meal on the off chance and the service and food was great. We had Masala dosa, Medu vada and Poori Bhaji and ended with my favourite South Indian Filter coffee. Good range of meals on the menu. The food freshly prepared and tasted amazing. Will definitely go again. Thank you for a lovely meal.

A wonderful little spot for a delicious breakfast at a great price. We were in the area for work, and we quickly made it our regular stop for brekkie. Highly recommend!

A nice little coffee shop / cafe with a choice of good coffees and a decent selection of breakfasts and toasties, all freshly cooked. It has a very relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and is a great place for a quiet coffee, breakfast or brunch. The shop and toilet were extremely clean.
