   I’m appalled and disgusted that I even have to write this. On Saturday 18th October 2025, around 9:00 pm, my family and I experienced what felt like racial profiling and discrimination in this store. I’m a 20-year-old dark-skinned man and was shopping with my mother and two siblings (the youngest only 6). We’ve been loyal customers here for years, but after tonight, we will never come back. While in line for the self-checkout, an attendant approached and asked if we’d prefer to use the tills — even though we had the same amount of shopping as everyone else. We politely declined. While using the checkout, she returned with who appeared to be the manager and they stood over us while we paid, making us feel uneasy and uncomfortable. After we finished, the attendant signalled to the security guard — both staff members sharing the same background — who suddenly ran to the door, even though he hadn’t been there earlier. The attendant covered her name tag, and the security guard didn’t even have one. As we left, the attendant and guard laughed together, while the manager went back into her office. We left feeling humiliated, targeted, and disrespected. This behaviour is unacceptable and must be addressed immediately.

   Came here with the kids many times and there's always someone smoking outside right by the cars I mean does this place only hire people who like to take nicotine breaks every 5 mins its disgusting and specially around kids , or hire staff that doesn't have disgusting bad habits

   We had shopped at the Aldi in Heartlands. The store is spacious and usually has most of the essentials at good prices, especially with fresh produce and bakery items.

   I'm disappointed at Aldi for the way prices are labelled in some aisles. For instance in the fruit section where the bargain fruit and vegetables USED to be 45p/49p, this morning I noticed this: right at the top it says 49p reusable bags in small writing. . On the remaining lower shelves the items are all 69p. This can be misleading. Senior citizens and/ or people who couldn't read might think it refers to all the items in the lower shelves! Hope this is addressed by the management.

   It's the best grocery shop near our home. The price is reasonable, and fruits and vegetables are of good quality. I use Baby diapers(mamia) and frozen meals from there. I recommend you to go there to save some money and get so many things.
