   They offer a cutting service, but it's an absolute shambles to sort out, nobody has a clue, I have a standard cutting pattern for 8' x 4' boards, 1st time I was charged 5 cuts, 2nd time they tried to charge me 12 cuts !! @ £2 per cut. Today I asked how many sheets they could cut, they told me 5 x 5.5mm sheets was the maximum, yet previously I had 8 sheets cut. I just told them not to bother. I'd take it and cut my own. Overall, it's a handy place to pop in for my sheets, but it could be greatly improved in the trade counter.

   Very quick tip once you actually get in , advise parking at Skelton lake services and phoning the gatehouse to book in , the outside road is a nightmare more often than not with cars , trucks and vans parked everywhere and the estate is a busy one for traffic

   I have used Lawcris on 2 occasions recently. Firstly as a trade customer to locate some boards that were discontinued in order to make some changes to a customers kitchen and secondly for worktops for home. Their range of products and and product knowledge is second to none and Steve at the trade counter was very very helpful.    Some really shady practices when it comes to pricing. Depending on who you speak to or email you will get different prices. The difference is acceptable if it is 1 or 2 % but it can be 15-20% difference. Same person will give you a different price couple of days later, when you remind them that the price you gave me was x they will reduce the price a bit not going to honour the original quote. Not a happy customer, I hope not to deal with them in the future.

   The order before 6pm for next day delivery is a lie! I ordered on a Tuesday afternoon and I've just been told (having chased it up) that my order isn't arriving till Friday morning! Very disappointed. Edit: Having given a negative review, the "owner" had the audacity to blame me for a late payment when I made the payment within half an hour of receiving the invoice (still before 6pm Tuesday). At least the man I made the order with admitted the order hadn't gone through their system.
