Not happy at all, as it feels like I've been misled and I am thoroughly disappointed with John Lewis's service. I'll be recommending that everyone I know stay away as the customer service isn't what it used to be. I purchased a TV using part cash and by claiming a couple of e-vouchers for John Lewis e-gift cards because the price was better than elsewhere and I wouldn't have claimed them for John Lewis if the TV hadn't been that price. They then cancelled and refunded to a gift card, then raised the price of the TV, which feels like they did this so that people would claim vouchers with them and then they'd have to spend them with John Lewis when they got refunded. Spoke to a customer service representative on the phone who said that they would be able to refund the gift card balance to cash (they had confirmed this several times) and told me to ring the gift card department to get this sorted (they gave me the number of a TV phone-in contest instead of their other department) and then I was told by another representative that they couldn't do this and that they wouldn't honour the price of the TV due to a 'pricing error'. I am currently escalating this, as I believe that the money should be refunded in cash, or that, ideally, the price should be honoured for the TV.

Through to Leeds John Lewis, went to top floor cafe. Nice selection of sandwichs . My wife and I had soup, this was great value and warming on a cold day. Latte and soup plus bread bun £9.40 Later on went back and had cream tea and coffee £8.75. Cafe very clean staff polite service good. Lovely store to look round, my wife also bought new dressing gown. Super quality and last for years. As always a nice experience to shop at John lewis

I bought a bosch speaker on 9 October. This was sent out on the 10 October and JL messaged me to say it was ready to collect. When I went to collect the speaker, I was told it had been recalled by JL. I spoke to customer services who advised it had been recalled due to a fault with the product and I would be refunded within 7 days. Since then I have found the item was not recalled by Bosch but was recalled by JL because they had mis-priced the speaker. Rather than being honest and saying this, they have tried to place the blame with the manufacturer and lied. I spoke to customer services again last Friday (nine days after ordering) because I still had not been refunded. Eventually they confirmed they had received the speaker back and my refund would now be processed but it may take some time because they have lots of other customers also waiting for a refund. How reassuring (not)!! It's now 12 days since I ordered from JL. I have never been in receipt of the item I ordered, they recalled it without informing me leading to a wasted journey to collect it. I have spend well over an hour on the phone and chat to them. They have repeatedly lied about what had happened and they are still witholding my money. I have been a loyal customer of JL for many years but will be shopping elsewhere in future. The trust has been broken.

Unbelievable how Unbelievable unkept the cafe on the 4th floor. pretty much every table was full of cups and dining waste. The staff walked around and went back empty handed on 4 occasions while was there. people complaining about delays in food. There was no sign of management no sign of pride, zero engagement. Don't get me wrong I love shopping in John Lewis, I love to treat my wife and daughter. The reason we didn't eat was if the outside service was like a bomb had hit it I couldn't imagine what the food prep area was like. get a grip... I wouldn't have given any star but it was the lowest option available!!!

Purchased from John Lewis and waited a week for delivery. When their delivery crew arrived on Monday they were full of attitude and simply didn't want to deliver the item because it was heavy and he had a sore wrist. They claimed there was insufficient room to manoeuvre and refused to deliver and install the wash tower. We had to follow-up with their shipping dept who refused to listen to anything we had to say, despite providing the dimensions of our access and hallway which was almost twice the width of the product being delivered. Long and short of it, we had to cancel the order with John Lewis because they flat out refused delivery. Ordered the item from another well known company yesterday which was delivered and installed today (Wednesday) with no issue and no fuss. Drivers today couldn't believe our delivery was refused by John Lewis. Will NEVER order from them again. I hope this serves as a warning to others. Hopefully they have enough ethics to post my review with video and photos. Hopefully they take action with their shipping dept, be it, in-house or contractors. Clearly delivery should never have been refused.

This is the place to go when you're in Leeds and have a bit of extra cash. Fantastic at Christmas. Oodles of variety, from different brands of clothing, to living room furniture, to food etc. Bit pricey as expected, but I am sure they often do sales and reductions etc. The only negative aspect of such a place is that it's constantly busy so you won't really ever find a nice quiet day to just browse in peace & quiet, but then what do you expect in a city centre shopping complex. There are many levels, so you need to catch the lift sometimes. Plenty of parking too. Lots of staff around to ask questions if you need to.

The pineapple upside down cake that they serve in the cafe is really nice. They have a selection of vegetarian wraps that look really nice but they are placed in the display unit next to meat products so I have never tried them. This may be problematic (as it is for me) if you don't eat meat at John Lewis for religious reasons and maybe for some vegetarians and vegans too.

The store itself is lovely as per. Car park is worth a mention too - lovely wide spaces! Only 3 stars because the 'cafe' is very poor. Limited menu with some stuff unavailable. Husband's ready-made ham & cheese baguette was almost inedible it was so hard. Chips undercooked and hard. Tables not cleared. And our food took a long time to arrive. Daughter's vegan curry was apparently nice though.

This John Lewis has five floors of quality products ranging from clothes to carpets. Their home section is particularly impressive with a large selection of beds and mattresses. Staff are on hand to provide services such as upholstery and design consultations, and you're able to try the mattresses in store, with appropriate covid things in place. Altogether it's a great store. They have lots of sale items in store too.
