Amazing food, fully enjoyed our experience at Melarkys. Served by Mel who was fantastic. Mark is the head chef the food is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended.
Went here for the first time to enjoy and indulge in the bonfire event. It was a very enjoyable experience. Great food and a brilliant pub, an all round winner on my books. We had lots of fun and look forward to visiting again especially for the classic Sunday roast which we have yet to try.
Thought I would try this place as the kitchen has been taken over by a fantastic couple called Melarkys. My god it is good. I was gobsmacked at the presentation and taste of the food. Everything was cooked fresh and piping hot. The lovely lady serving was a absolute pleasure very friendly and attentive. This is a gem of a place we will definitely be back to sample more of there delicious menu.
Went to this pub yesterday. The menu could be alot better but the food was ok just didn't fill me up. Our table was very sticky could of done with a super clean. No football was on just some 80's music so it was pretty boring. Had few problems with my drink but kind of sorted at the end. The customer service needs a improvement has well.
The food was good & the chips are great. A good atmosphere & live music when we visited on a Saturday evening. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side for a public house.
Just been over with my daughter and dog for a Sunday roast. Had a starter then a beef brisket roast. Absolutely outstanding food, fresh, hot and homemade by the lovely landlady herself, she even done my dog a little one and takeaway for my husband who’s on nights to enjoy later! Prices fab, staff fab, can’t recommend highly enough! Thanks for a lovely afternoon.
