Food was very nice although luke warm. But can understand as it was very busy due to holiday season. Would definitely go back.

The food was OK. Service was prompt, and the staff were pleasant . Atmosphere was good and comfortable. Almost all Weatherspoons have their toilets downstairs or upstairs. No problem with that, but the disability toilet here was in a disgusting state, and smelly, as there were lots of men of various ages too lazy to go upstairs to use the facilities, and instead, they were using the disability toilet downstairs. We could see this happening and at one point, a disabled lady had to wait while a young man was using the toilet and he certainly was not disabled. This toilet is place in the center of the dining area, and the door was being left partially open purposely. Not very hygienic

God awful food, even by Wetherspoons Standards, half a handful of chips and a burnt crispy lasagna. To add insult to injury you get the generic β€œIs everything okay with your food?” And you actually decide for once to tell them that it’s awful and they shrug at you and don’t give a toss anyway, what was even the point of asking? I took the picture of the lasagna to remind myself of the terrible quality, incase I try to convince myself this place is worth visiting again. Maghull Wetherspoons is virtually the same distance if you’re coming from out of town and isn’t the most abysmal Wetherspoons of your life.

Usually ok but me and hubby had the spicy chicken today which is usually ok and it was dried out and hardly any chicken to eat without breaking your teeth. Told the chef and all she said was it comes prepackaged and they heat it up in the microwave. She said if it's the same next time come and tell her. I think I'll be asking to see it before it comes to my table. Good job I ordered rice chips and salad or id be going home hungry.

A very busy Spoons with an impressive large roof terrace. I went on a Saturday evening and it was packed inside and out. Great atmosphere with some good ales. Service wasn't the friendliest, though. Well worth a visit

Super efficient service, staff very polite and even found time to check we were happy with our meal despite the place being incredibly busy. Great value lunch. Very happy customers.

Big bar+ roof garden. Worm feel to the pub standard spoons. V good service.

Ordered 3 meals. We explained 2 of us were coeliac. Only 2 meals arrived because the 3rd meal was added to the same plate as the non coeliac, so the food was contaminated. The chef was uncooperative and rude and would only give part of the 3rd meal. 3 meals ordered and paid for. 3 meals were NOT received. Manager was overwhelmed and unhelpful.

The place is friendly, although it seems very neglected. The advantage is that it has a parking lot nearby. The service is very nice, the dishes are served very quickly. The prices are affordable. Unfortunately, the tables are dirty, the service could not keep up with the collection of dirty dishes. The bathroom is neat, although very cold (we were in the winter season). Around 10pm it got cold also at the tables..

Not a bad Wetherspoons and good location. Gets busy. The refill coffee is great! The breakfast was nice and two plates had Wong items on. The furniture needs some attention as table 36 had some exposed nails as the arm rests had broken off and could hurt someone. Good stop for lunch and food was nice.
