Thank you to all the staff for making such a lovely Christmas Day for me and the family. Food was amazing and the staff couldnt have looked after us better. Even though it was very busy they were very attentive and had time for the children in our party. Well done!!!
Xmas Day Dinner, been coming here for a few years now and they never fail to deliver a great day. We all had a great time with family and friends and the service and food was outstanding. The only slight criticism was a slightly longer wait between courses but it was extremely busy and we had drinks so we were absolutely fine, overall the service from the team and food was amazing. Thanks for making our day just perfect.
Great meal, quick friendly service and brilliant value for money! We visited the Jolly Miller and enjoyed a nice meal with plenty of options for choose from, a good choice of drinks available too! Would recommend visiting if you can
When arriving there was someone hammering putting a shelving unit on the immediate floor area which carried on for about 30 minutes we only waited for about 10 minutes for the meal to arrive my wife had ordered an American burger which was nice, the only problem was the cheese was a cold slice put on top of the burger.my meal was completely different.i had ordered a sirloin steak medium and what I received was a fatty grisly piece of inedible meat ,I tried to find a piece I could eat but gave up .the waitress suggested I have another one but the chef had told her that all the meat was the same so it wasn’t worth me to have another one . We waited for the apple pie dessert but that wasn’t much better as as the pastry was lukewarm and doughy.we left taking the meat with us back home to give to our dog.we definitely will not be eating there again.
Took my dad for a birthday meal. Staff are always so lovely to my parents, been coming here for years now. And I always order their signature dish the Jamaican chicken stew. Please never take it off the menu it’s so delicious!
Nice pub, friendly staff. Food wasnt available until 13:00, so had a couple of drinks whilst waiting.
I am a support worker in the area local to the Jolly Miller it was the birthday of one of our service users so a few people and there support staff went for a meal there to celebrate. I cannot fault anything about it! They kindly reserved us plenty of tables to ensure that everyone who came could be seated together and didn’t mind when the party arrived and was smaller than originally planned. The food was all lovely and cooked exactly to everyone’s preference and the staff were welcoming and patient, our server Loraine was very attentive often popping over to make sure that everyone was happy and had what they needed. Would definitely recommend the Jolly Miller especially if you have a number of people attending together
Best bus stop around. You can sink a couple while waiting for the 12, 13, or 15 as you can see down West Derby Road for when it's coming. Steak is particularly nice too. More of a family restaurant than a pub but the addition of the pool table links the two in nicely. Worth a stop.
Food was nice, quick service however there were alot of items on the menu that were unavailable.
Lovely food nicely presented. Friendly staff. Value for money. Especially the two meal deal for ten pound something. Looking fwd to another visit.
