We came for a surprise wedding anniversary in the upstairs function room and it was really lovely. Nice and intimate.

We had an amazing night for our Christmas night out tonight, the team catered for 27 of us, food was exceptional, as was service. We felt welcome and well fed and will definitely return as a large party again. Warm, friendly and local, perfection

Expected it to be busy on a Saturday lunch time but it wasn't so could sit anywhere. Food was amazing and didn't have to wait too long. Gorgeous building inside and out. Hope to visit again.

Very quirky place to visit Sadly It had just opened and wasn't ready to serve us with a morning coffee but it was well worth going in to look at it's inside layout. A place with history. Freddie Mercury (pre Queen) lived in the flat above the pub. Originally built by and lived in by a rich Shipping agent.

I want so much for this place to be good but every time I come it disappoints, it was always my local growing up and is great for a drink, but the food really lets it down. Recently we came here and waited 50 minutes for food, when it came out it was cold - another of our tables fish was still frozen in the middle, salt and pepper chips are just chips in sweet chilli sauce - and the cost is the worst part! Charging high end prices for poor quality food is not on.

Staff are great. Good selection of beers and food. Great pub to spend an afternoon/evening in. Nice atmosphere.

Wow what a pub, great bar staff the best bar staff I've ever come across. A credit to Liverpool.

An attractive busy local pub with a decent outside space for sunny days. Good selection of food and plenty of beers on draught. Dog friendly and the lovely staff will likely come to say hello to your dog, bringing water and a biscuit ❤️
