   Updated from 4 star to 1 star. Revisited for a 3rd time and ordered the same chicken sub. This place has seriously gone down hill or I just got seriously unlucky on this visit? The chicken sub had about 3 pieces of chicken that were barely noticable, instead, replaced with a boat load of mayo while the chips had been replaced with fries that were all stuck together. Absolutely dissapointing. Review based of 2 visits Food: The food was delightful. For a pub meal, it was definitely beyond my expectations. I had the chicken club baguette with some chips. Cannot fault it at all. If there was to be any critasism, I'd say the chips needed something. Maybe a little seasoning. Staff: On both occassions, the staff have been very friendly and easy to deal with. Great level of customer service. Again, above expectations. Atmosphere: both visits had been a rather busy experience with the TVs on, playing football. You could hold a regular conversation during your meal which is great

   Great place to spend an afternoon watching the racing. Book a table in advance with a £10 deposit, which you can then use on your bar bill. Decent drinks, good pub grub too. Friendly place.

   Good sized city centre pub decent cheap beer and food and open late.Never going to have the best atmosphere but it's OK for breakfast, lunch or tea or just for beers .has a roof terrace that was closed during my visit unfortunately all in all a nice place to eat or drink

   An excellent service. The fish and cod (chip shop platter) was phenomenal. And we overpaid, but the waiter noticed this and gave us our money back even though we didn't even notice that we had overpaid. That is really GOOD service! Also very good prices!

   This place is lovely,their staff did well.. I was out for lunch with my colleagues.. Trust me,they have lovely meals here,it is a neat and quite place.. Got into pub,scanned my table then downloaded an app and placed my order from the app.. Nothing bad to say about this place...

   The steak and fries looks very dry in the picture I know, we contacted the staff and they replaced the dish right away, they were super helpful and kind. everything else was Great, it has a great pub atmosphere, it's kind of cheap compared to everything around, not the most family friendly place as the music was a bit too loud to have a conversation. Overall it t was a good experience.
