   I hate writing bad reviews but here is one. The lad with the neck and arm tattoos with brown hair had been overly cocky and arrogant brunnet lad. He has recommended a completely wrong item for my project. I needed a silicone but he recommended that a spray adhesive for carpets was “supposed” to do the job. At the time I thought “oh well he knows best” but after returning home and reading about the product online it turns out it will melt my materials I have been working with as the spray contained solvent plus it wouldn’t work with wood. Not only I had to drive there again to return the items (refund was without a hassle) but I wasted my time driving to the place when I could have spent that time doing my project. I am disappointed with his service and arrogant behaviour. I do not appreciate clapping after making a purchase too. Not sure if he makes commission or is hitting his sales targets but that was very rude and arrogant.

   I was very appreciative of the help I received today from Luke. He was friendly, informative and extremely helpful in trying to find the right thermostat for my boiler, even when it seemed I would have to shop elsewhere for it, he still looked things up for me. Anyway, in the end he did find one in the store that hopefully would be suitable. Thanks, Luke - great service.

   I love shopping with Screwfix. Staff are always helpful. You can buy with confidence knowing that if you don’t end up using something, you can return it. Even items bought a long time ago can be returned for store credit. Brilliant!

   Very helpful staff. Victoria helped me find the right size of bolt for an unconventional project, even going in the back several times to measure the diameter of several different products. She eventually helped me find just the right one for the job. It really made the difference as otherwise I'd have had to order something off amazon.

   Staff nice enough but seems that technology slows the system down. Not knowing how to log in, then having to get a manager over to ask how to bypass the system as I did not wish to give my personal information. Screwfix need to stop asking for customers name and address just to make a purchase. Collection quick though.

People make businesses, not the sign above the door and this team did their company proud. Nothing was too much trouble. Emily was so patient and extremely helpful, changing our online order for something else without any sign of impatience at the end of a busy day. Duty Manager Oscar also went the extra mile, resolving a stock issue on the computer, so our reviewer could take another item home when the computer said 'no'.
