Less of a hardware store more of a mini screwfix, always worth calling and checking if they have what you need before before goin to screwfix or a big chain. They also do key cutting for cheaper than anywhere I’ve found and offer a better quality service and much friendlier. Can’t recommend enough
Very friendly and helpful staff. The store is a treasure trove - relatively small but can usually get what you need and also has some lovely gifts.
My favourite shop. You don't need to go to B&Q or Screwfix or the like. This shop will (probably) have it.
Just fantastic little shop, everything you need to sort out all the little bits around the house.. ALSO lovely little boutique items... ALSO the staff are great, know loads, always have a laugh. Every time my Dad visits he makes an excuse to go into this shop

I out picking up a frame from opposite the road and my keys accidentally fell into the drain. Luckily I saw this hardware store and Martin kindly let me borrow a litter picker and I managed to fish out my keys. Martin did not charge me a penny even though I offered. I'll be picking up all my hardware from Martin going forward. Thanks so much for saving the day.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, shop packed with stock and a some aisles. can be quite tight to negotiate. Prices are reasonable and the quality of products is very good. The shop is also home to a very friendly tabby cat who likes to sit on the checkout counter.
