My daughter paid £169 to have a car brought from their Doncaster branch to Warrington as this was our nearest branch, despite the fact it was still almost an hour’s drive from us. The car was advertised as having rear parking sensors fitted which is why she wanted that particular car. When we were shown the car it did not have the fitted sensors that were advertised. I questioned this with the salesman and had it been my purchase I would have walked away there and then and asked for a refund of the £169 as it was incorrectly advertised. However, my daughter was already invested and still wanted the car despite my concerns. We went through the finance and were told that the monthly payments would be £195 per month which was fine. Then we were told we needed to sign the paperwork with a different salesperson. The second salesman gave her the hard sell and pressured her into purchasing “gap” insurance which then increased the monthly payments. Still she wanted to proceed. The salesman then said that the finance would actually be at a higher rate than first salesman had advised her and now the monthly payments would be £230! I should have encouraged my daughter to walk away but by this point we had been at the sales room for 3 hours and she loved the car so she signed up. I would never use this company again or recommend them. My daughter was sold a car under false advertising and incorrect calculations and pressured into “extras” she didn’t need.

Quality of the car is okay. Reception for customer is okay. I am sorry, the service after sales is poor. Its critical that if you sold something that you are responsible for, please keep that responsibility. I have been waiting for a month to get my MOT service appointment booked and still haven't yet :-( I paid for the MOT package along with the purchase. Customer communication could have been better just in case they couldn't reach the customer through phone or not able to keep the promise of call back request.

After visiting this place twice the Carshop completely wasting my families time, we decided not to purchase a car from them. They couldn't find the car initially, then they had no documentation or service history available, the car was fifthly on both occasions, (despite them telling me it had been valeted?!) then they would not negotiate any money of due to a cambelt change being due, they honestly expected me to pay over 16k for a car then fork out for a cambelt change! They wouldn't even nock £1 of the price. The spineless managers would not even come from behind the desk to talk to me in person, he sent his minion to fend off my questions (some young kid barely in the job 3 months) All in all it was a shocking experience and I would never go back there again, we subsequently found the same type of car from a local family run dealership that actually want dour custom and had at very least dscwbet communication skills, and above all negotiation skills.

I picked up a new (for me) car today at Car Shop Service Centre Warrington. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and very helpful. In particular Ray, Matt and Chris. Shame it was during lockdown so we couldn't go into the showroom, but we were able to sit in the car where it was warmer, when a lot of the paperwork was being dealt with. Matt and Ray ensured I was happy with and understood both the paperwork I was given, and my (new) car before I left.
