I bought a Ford Fiesta Mk8 Active from Motorparks Warrington earlier this year, and the experience has been one of the worst I’ve ever had with a dealership. From the start, I raised several issues, including a faulty heated steering wheel, faulty thermostat and missing trims. I was told these would be fixed. I also paid an extra £500 for the timing belt to be replaced, which I was promised would be done straight away for peace of mind. What followed was weeks of delays, broken promises, and poor communication. The car was left with them multiple times for long periods (at one time for 2 weeks) only for me to be told they didn’t have the right tool because they didn’t want to buy it and wanted to rent it, or that the technician was off sick prior to my car being dropped off with them, which I wasn’t told by any staff member until I rang the service department myself after I noticed the car hadn’t been moved in a week. As a goodwill gesture, Rob (the salesman) offered to machine polish and ceramic coat the car with their Diamondbrite protection because of all the delays. That too was done badly, and I had to pay an independent company to correct the paintwork properly at my own expense. As of my latest correspondence from the General manager, Shaz, I have been told “I can only apologise if you feel it was not applied correctly”. Feel? If I feel it was not applied properly? It was assessed by an independent detailer, and Rob the salesman himself and was told the paint protection had caused issues to the paint due to improper application. The wet belt replacement, which I paid £500 for, was eventually done by one of Rob’s friends at a Ford dealership “off the books.” Because of that, I’ve never received any official Ford paperwork to confirm the work was done. I requested this on 24th October for proof the work was carried out correctly and service record purposes, and to this day I still haven’t received anything, despite asking again in my complaint. The latest information I have received is that this was indeed done by a “sublet” and that “I can forward you a description to what was carried out.”. This by no means is acceptable or proof any work was even carried out. The heated steering wheel was never repaired. Rob told me management didn’t want to pay for a new one, so the plan was to take a working steering wheel from another car at their Preston branch “as they owed them a favour.” That’s how they intended to fix my issue instead of replacing the part properly. I completely lost confidence at that point and replaced it myself at my own cost. Gavin, the sales manager did address this in his reply to my complaint stating there was “some confusion” on this matter, despite witnesses to the phone call between my partner and Rob. I asked only for that one repair to be reimbursed (£220), despite everything else I’d already paid for. Gavin, the sales manager, refused, saying they could have done it “free of charge” if I brought it back again. After everything I’d been through, that wasn’t realistic. I submitted a formal complaint on 28th October, which was acknowledged with a 14-day deadline for a response. Only after chasing did I get an email from Gavin offering to cover the cost of the steering wheel, but still no answer or accountability for the rest of the complaint including the paintwork damage and missing Ford paperwork. It’s now past the 14-day deadline set by their own complaints team, and I’ve had no full response. I’ve now had to escalate my complaint to the National Conciliation Service. Motorparks Warrington has shown zero accountability, poor communication, and no respect for customers’ time or money. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Still facing issues with the car which I have to sort out myself.

Dealt with Rob, who was really friendly and offered helpful, impartial advice, presented a competitive part ex and was patient while we mulled over options. After weighing up we decided not to go ahead this time, but will be back in the future!

Got a car on PCP in Sept 23 with a poorly repaired tear in the leather of the seat. Contacted motorparks multiple times via phone, email and even face to face with false promises to have it repaired. Still waiting for it to be repaired properly in July 25. Will not be bothering with this place in future.

Nikki Duke has been absolutely amazing in helping me find the right car for my purposes. She is so patient and accommodating with my needs. She made my buying experience run so smoothly and stress free, plenty of help and information too. She doesn’t push you into anything you are not happy with either. Thank you Nikki for making my day!

Received excellent service from Nikki Duke when purchasing my new car. She guided me through the process which was smooth and easy. Some issues with the car at pickup but Nikki made sure to go out of her way to make sure these would be sorted at no cost to me. Very happy with the quality of the car. Thanks again!

I visited the show room on Sunday to be greeted by Nikki. Nikki was very helpful and informative, she knew all the information, on any vehicle that I asked questions on. Nikki gave me an excellent customer service experience, rather than a pushy sales service. Didn't feel any pressure at all to buy, not like other garage's that i had been to that weekend! Despite Nikki what seemed to be own her own in the show room, she gave every single customer her 100% attention, and at no time did she rush with the service that she was giving to me and my family. Nikki ended up recommending a car that I thought i would never look at buying. I would highly recommending going to see Nikki if you are looking to buy a New car. 5 star service.

Nikki made my shopping experience amazing! I always felt a bit intimidated to go to a car dealer, as they have always looked at me like "you have a husband to sort it out". Had a great time with a female staff to help me to understand all terms, test drive, and advise on the best choice. Even better, got a better deal at the end! Recommending to all women wanting to get a car, you will be in really good hands here!
