Had a really bad wine … tasted like vinegar.. so when trying to return I was declined due to not keeping a receipt for two months. It’s a grocery not a capital investment … next time I’ll buy from somewhere I can trust to supply decent wine

Excellent service from the staff. Very helpful, can guide you if required, or allow you to browse a very presentable stock of wines and spirits at leisure. The customer taster area is excellent, often with a good choice, which allow you to try new wines you might not have considered. The best store in this chain. Recommended.
Went in to York store to trial red/white/rose/bubbles for our wedding. Staff were fantastic and helped us get the wine perfect for our special day. Took advantage of the click and collect from Calais - fantastic service, all ready when we arrived. Great idea, great service!
