We stayed at this hotel for one night and also visited the restaurant, which was excellent. We ordered drinks with dinner, and they were genuinely outstanding. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, including proper hot English breakfast options. The room was very spacious and family-friendly, with a small kids’ corner featuring a bunk bed, stickers, and a child’s lamp, as well as a large, comfortable bed for adults. The bathroom was also roomy and well maintained, with shampoo and body wash provided, although a conditioner would have been a nice addition and towels were stinkya bit.. The fridge included free water and milk, which was a thoughtful touch, and we were told we could get more downstairs if needed. The hotel has plenty of space overall, and while it’s an older building, it has been renovated beautifully. I would happily return.

I'm Poppins see the office in Uxbridge once a month and decided not to stay in the premier Inn. And this was a pleasant alternative. Walking distance (1/2 hour)which was good to get the old steps in there was plenty of busses available.. I will stay here again.

"The Red Lion Hotel" vary greatly because it's a common name for many different hotels/inns (like in Redding, Kissimmee, or England). Generally, newer or renovated locations (like Kissimmee) get praise for modern amenities, pools, and good value, while older or budget-focused properties (like some Redding locations) might mention needed updates, worn furniture, and parking/safety concerns, though they often highlight good service and proximity to attractions. Common Themes in Reviews (Varies by Location): Positive Aspects: Amenities: Pools, water slides (Kissimmee), free breakfast, good Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, large showers. Service: Friendly staff, good food at attached pubs (in UK locations). Value: Good pricing, especially when breakfast is included. Renovations: Some locations feel modern and clean after refurbishments. Negative Aspects: Maintenance: Rooms needing updates (chipped paint, worn fixtures). Parking/Safety: Concerns about unpatrolled parking areas. Room Size: Small rooms, lack of seating. TV/Amenities: Limited TV channels (antenna only). How to Get Specific Details: To get relevant reviews, search for the specific location, e.g.: "Red Lion Hotel Redding reviews" "Red Lion Hotel Kissimmee reviews" "Red Lion Hotel Oakford Devon reviews" These details help you understand what to expect at your particular Red Lion Hotel.

What a great hotel, rooms were good, great to be able to park. We ate our evening meal and the food was lovely, very good prices as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We are local and having eaten in the pub a couple of times and really enjoyed the food, we came to the restaurant tonight for my husbands birthday. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Whilst the waiting staff were pleasant the service was lacking and we were left for long periods of time . My meal was very enjoyable but my husbands rack of lamb was a very small portion for the £27 being charged and his honeycomb cheesecake was basically a pile of cream on a plate with some chocolate crumb a few chunks of honeycomb. What was meant to be a special evening was sadly disappointing. So much so, that he got a bag of chips from the chip shop opposite on the way home!

Excellent value for money. Large, spacious, comfortable, clean room and bathroom. I would have given the room rating five stars but the bathroom didn't have any heating. The menu choices were great and value for money as discounted when you stay there. The car park was a bit tight as workmen were parked there in vans but normally ok I would presume. The hotel is near to the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines giving easy access to London. I would recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Our 4 nights stay was my best hotel experience I've ever had. Rooms are amazing: comfortable beds, lots of space, bathroom is huge, clean. Room service absolutely perfect, every day had cleaning, new towels, coffee pods, etc.. and the kitchen is omg.. breakfast was very delicious didn't miss any. We had dinner once, steak and burger really good and the Guinness is non plus ultra:) Definitely will come back. The staff very friendly and always helpful. Also free parking with CCTV! Highly recommended.

Solo traveller here for 1 night with work. Set in a nice suburb it's in a good location and easy accessible. Service has been impeccable. Rooms are clean and spacious, as mentioned by another comment, surprisingly quiet. Lovely pub and restaurant. I guess the only negative is, while the food was tasty, it was a relatively small portion compared to the price. Typical gastropub I guess, using posh names for basic food then charging more! All in all I highly recommend and will stay again if I'm in the area.

Lovely old hotel and restaurant. The outstanding asset is the excellent staff. On a previous visit we were mistakenly late for breakfast but they still served us willingly and with a smile. They are always patient and helpful whatever the demands on them.

We stayed here for just one night. Beds are comfy rooms are clean and tidy. Staff on reception was also lovely. Breakfast food was lovely but there was one member of staff (man) as the girls was so polite made you feel like you was an inconvenience breakfast was served between 8-10am we got there about 9.25am and he made us feel like we had got there at 10am. We had to wait for a table which was not a problem but when we was seated the table was not set up properly we had to keep on asking for things Milk spoons the girl realized there was no side plates and we had to ask for our toast twice. Maybe it was a busy morning
