   This was a great pub for a quick drink when travelling on trains, with a wooden decor that has an olden feel to it! Counter is nicely presented and service from the staff was on point, area around the counter and the outside seating both feel a bit small though. I had a fresh Corona Extra, cleanliness was up to standard and water refillable machine efficient.

   Wow what a difference between my visits! I went in may and it was amazing! Food was fantastic staff were amazing and the manager (Kara, I believe her name was) was fantastic when I had an issue with my allergies. I returned last week with a group of my friends and what a turnaround! There was hardly any staff around, bar queue of over 30 minutes and food was an hour wait. When I tried to speak with manager (scott) about an issue in the toilets I got ignored he literally blanked me. He was rude to his staff and other customers too.

   Went their to get some work done on my computer. I didn't have any cooked, just ome hot beverages, peanuts and a zero alcohol bear. The customer service was great considering it was only on person juggling the serving at the time. Prices are super reasonable for everything I bought.

   Been to this place on a friend's call to catch up for a drink. Lovely place, plenty of seating inside and outdoor. Nice decor to make you feel bit historical. Service was good which matter to me. Quiet atmosphere with lovely vibes. Even reading about Donald Campbell life history on the wall board. Btw we had good time on drinks and then move on. Glad I was here.

   Was looking forward to this.The place was full of under age drinkers and children running around.Ordered fish n chips no ordered large gammon no.Ordered traditional steak pie meal yes! It arrived well the plate did the pie was I think a childs portion 13 ememic peas and the mash potatoes well couldn't describe that I complained but got no there won't be going there again.

   The breakfast certainly hits the spot every time and over time your waist will grow a little. The great thing about this lovely breaky is you get free refill hot drinks, so you can continue your conversations after your meal. The staff are all welcoming and friendly, they come around and check if the meals are alright and they immediately change and replace your meal if it isn’t the one you ordered. All the customers seem to really feel comfortable and at home at this place.

   Lovely old pub with beautiful metal work above the bar behind some rather cool lighting. The usual seating options available with outdoor seating out the front. Old photos everywhere and even a tapestry upstairs. The pub was clean and tidy and the staff efficient and friendly. The Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar

   £2.39 for a pint of Calrlsburg... Dec 22... same thing in central London would be roughly 6 quid... if you want a decent pint at a very reasonable price, Weatherspoons have got to be a top three option

   Ordered 4 meals. Made the mistake of not ticking “chips” with kids meals. Went to the bar to explain my error but had to pay £3.75 for a portion of chips. OK, I made a mistake in their app but would it really be that hard to just provide a portion of chips? The “gourmet” steak was also well overdone and full of fat. 15 minute wait for drinks to arrive. Seems to be a cynical change in the app that defaults the choice of potato to NONE. If you don’t pick something, you get nothing.
