   I had previously visited this pub when it was named The Wishing Well, and was a friendly local pub. However since visiting recently I would now avoid, staff are non-attentive and rude, the atmosphere is also not welcoming. This is a 'locals/regulars' pub. The beer was decent though, so is a shame how they operate this pub. Prices are also pretty standard for the area.

   Always good fun at the goodies. Bar stuff are brilliant you can have good banter with them. The food is spot on take my hat off to the chef’s. Always something going on like lives bands, meat raffles and Rock n roll bingo. Always a good night at the goodies and never any trouble. Brilliant family pub.

   The good companion accommodates for Everyone we are a family friendly drinking pub and allow family’s with children up to the time of 7:30pm We host events for children as well as adults.. My daughter is 5 and loves coming to the good companion. We will always be a family welcoming pub.

   Now known as The Good Companion. Recently refurbed, but not much has improved. Cheap opening drinks prices, but very limited choice of beers. Our beers were definitely sour and had to be returned. Lager louts will love it. At the time of recent visit, mid-evening on a weekday, the place was very noisy and the atmosphere was not convivial... so we left.

   Renamed, redesigned and new management. However me and my friends felt very uncomfortable whilst drinking here. Too many youngsters walking around with attitude and appeared to be doing illegal trading!
