Came for Chrissy lunch with my friends and I was blown away by the friendliness and the service of the staff at The Bishop! Lia, Alex, Ben and the team were fantastic. Attentive, caring and delivered exception quality in all aspects. A 6 course meal to die for. I'd recommend this pub to all for your casual beer or for your fancy night out! 10/10.

We had 3 burgers and 1 fish & chips on a Saturday evening. The food was good quality, but not amazing. It wasnβt too busy and upstairs, where we ate, had a nice atmosphere (bit noisier downstairs). There were quite a few people with toddlers and children there despite it being early on a Saturday evening. The service was very good, friendly and efficient. Probably just the cost of things these days but Β£100 for a family of 4 to eat (one main and one drink each) seems quite pricey. Overall Iβd definitely go back.

βStepping back into this riverside pub after such a long time felt instantly familiar and warm, it was an absolute treat to be back. This place has an undeniable, irreplaceable character, sitting right on the banks of the Thames in Kingston. I've always loved that slightly rugged, "dodgy" feel of the location; it gives the pub a charming authenticity that you just don't find everywhere else. βWe were meeting up with friends, and the entire evening just flew by. It's testament to the company and the cozy atmosphere inside that, despite being right next to the water, I barely had a chance to look out at the river! We settled in quickly, enjoying the convivial mood and some much-needed catch-up time. βThe experience was fantastic across the board. The food we ordered was genuinely lovely, perfect pub fare done really well and the drinks flowed easily. What truly elevated the visit, though, was the service. The staff were consistently pleasant, attentive, and made us feel genuinely looked after without being intrusive. βFor anyone looking for a friendly, character-filled spot near the Thames to catch up with friends, enjoy great food, and receive wonderful service, I highly recommend this spot. I certainly won't be waiting so long for my next visit!

Went to The Bishop for a Sunday Roast. Goodness me it was amazing! One of the best Sunday roasts I have had out in a very long time. The portion sizes were huge and prices were reasonable considering the excellent quality of the food. We had the half chicken and it was cooked perfectly. So tasty. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Very well run pub. We will definitely be back and recommending! Views over the Thames whilst we ate was a huge bonus too. Ask for a riverside view on the first floor if booking! Thank you to the lovely team at The Bishop for making our Sunday!

Great gastro pub food and excellent service from attentive, non pushy staff. Good menu selection includes veg/vegan. Booked for a Saturday late lunch for our 1 year anniversary and enjoyed decent steaks (1 rare, 1 med) with blue cheese sauce (on the side), fries and mushrooms. Very relaxed, despite it being quite busy we didn't feel rushed so enjoyed our drinks and took our time ordering dessert - one apple crumble (pictured) and a very sticky (good thing!) treacle tart with a (slightly small but proper) blob of whipped cream. Lovely early Christmas atmosphere.

A delightfully located pub sitting right on the River Thames with a good outdoor seating area that when the sun is out is very sought after, the space inside is good with plenty of seating and standing room, it has an good menu, with a good variety of offering. The bears and ales are good and you will find something here no probs, along with the array of cocktails if that's what you want. The food is well cooked and arrived promptly and the staff are friendly courteous it is a great place to come whether for a meal with friends or to shoot the breeze with a beer as the sun dips below the horizon.

Went for brunch with my Mum at this amazing pub by the river. It's one if the best brunches I've had in a long time. Service was fabulous from Jamie and Max, and the food is fantastic. Really freshly cooked. I ordered the full English and my Mum ordered a bacon and egg bap. We also had tea and a cappuccino. Loved it!

Really lovely pub with fantastic views of the waterfront. Service was excellent and there was plenty of room. The app, while a bit of a faff to set up, was easy to navigate and I'm much preferring the method of ordering on your phone, particularly during busier times. Food was lovely. I had the chicken pie and my partner had the fish and chips. Partner had no issue with his meal. The pie was amazing, just prefer to have the leek a tad more mixed in as it was all on one side. It came with a side of semi-mashed potatoes and cabbage. I think some proper mash would go well with it, rather than the potatoes as they were a bit on the undercooked side. The cabbage was quite floppy and had a lot of juice. It would have been much better had they been seasoned with something during cooking. Overall, its a nice place and I would recommend but it is on the pricey side when it comes to food. Would return and try something new, perhaps.
