No need to wonder why the place is absolutely desolate on a Saturday afternoon, if you ever go in you’ll soon understand. A wasp landed in my drink and I was told essentially they never sold the drink to me with one in and it was my own fault for ordering a cider on a hot day, was then kicked out and had 999 called for telling them they was no toilet roll and following that, that the toilet was broke and the manager smashed my phone. The bar staff are all lovely, it’s just a shame that they’re let down by that idiot manager who seems to be completely destroying the business at every opportunity. There’s a Wetherspoons down the road fyi.

I was just going to meet a friend here, needed the toilet before buying a drink. The guy at the bar followed me and in front of everyone said toilet is for customers only. I have been here few times and always a disappointment but after today feeling humiliated I will never come back here! Avoid!! We walked down to the pub near police station. They are very welcoming, good food.

Stumbled across this little gem passing through Edgware, good vibes, great beer selection, food is 10/10. If I could give it more stars I would. Had the burger, was unreal.

had the olives and human with pitta bread was very nice . not a fan of east finchley find it a bit sterile the restaurant looks nice though it is less of a pub more a restaurant would be better in the summer has a big outdoor space

Came with the hubby to try out the new naughty bingo that’s running and the new 2 for 1 cocktail deal. Absolutely hilarious. Staff really get involved to make it fun for everyone! The bar staff were lovely and cocktails were lush. Tried out the new kitchen menu and the all the food tasted fresh and came fairly quickly even though it was busy. I told them I had a gluten allergy and the chef personally assured me that they can accommodate to this.

It's a simple cosy little English pub with friendly staff. They have great pizza and pretty much most of the drinks you would expect.

Just what the local pub should be. Friendly landlord, good team behind the bar. Beer is always fresh and pizza is top notch. Locals are a welcoming bunch, nothing more to ask for.

... booked xmas meal, place was freezing cold when we arrived and until we left. food nicely presented but quality was disappointing. obviously not fresh, even the berries for pavlova were from a 'bag'. and to top it all off, chef aggressive towards waiting staff, he thinks he is from "Hell's Kitchen", not a pleasant atmosphere, quite intense and if you can look closely on the ice cream, that is the fingertip of the chef who decided to pick up the ice cream with his bare hands. it is astonishing what you can see through an open plan kitchen. therefore, never again and 2 stars for the effort at least. that is generosity!
