Had my birthday party here last night. The staff are always so fabulous and make you feel so special. A wonderful gem of a pub in the heart of Putney. Can’t recommend enough!

Food was very average - ordered fish and chips and the baked cookie with ice cream. Nice surroundings and a cosy pub vibe with friendly service, and right next to the tube station so convenient location. I wouldn’t mind going for drinks here but probably wouldn’t order food - I think you can find better pub food elsewhere

The venue itself is attractive, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food fell far short of expectations. The vegan chicken bites arrived cold, made with low-quality ingredients , and tasted no better than a budget supermarket meal deal. It was an immediate regret and left me hungry and unsatisfied. Lovely atmosphere and nice people, but the kitchen needs serious improvement. At these prices, the food should be far better than Tesco-level. Cannot recommend for anything beyond a coffee or drink. I ordered for 2 people: 1 Passionfruit martini Β£9 2 Diet coke Β£7.20(absolutely rocket expensive) 1 Vegan chicken bites Β£8 1 vegan burger (around nearly Β£15 too expensive) 1 bacon cheeseburger (around nearly Β£15 expensive) and 12.5% service charge in which had hardly any service and it was nearly Β£7 Total 58.17 for two people.

Another super duper drinking establishment. The East Putney Tavern with its superb Crittal windows and doors all over the place, fantastic. Lovely staff and welcomed enthusiastically by The LOVELY Riasa and Crystal, Cairo chirped in a bit too! A good range of keg beers and a couple of cask ales, everyone happy. There is a delightful mezzanine and a lower floor area along with a neat courtyard garden. Super place to visit.

Good strong local, great beer and wine selection. Had the sausage roll, fried chicken and steak. Really enjoyed the fried chicken and dipping sauce. The steak and sausage roll were okay and not really worth the cost.

What a fantastic little pub. A short walk from East Putney tube station, it's a sprawling pub over 3 levels with a beer garden out the back. The staff were wonderful: very friendly, cheerful and helpful and happy to chat. The pub was very clean and tidy with lots of seating Including some very comfortable looking sofas. And if you're interested, they show the six nations rugby. I know I don't mention food very much, but the beef brisket nuggets with caper mayo was absolutely brilliant. The Guinness was excellent as was the Wimbledon Brewery's Copper Leaf. I usually take pics of the ales/bitters on offer to indicate their availability, but I forgot to do that have - they sell ales/bitters.

First time here and I have to say the Sunday roast was superb! We had a lovely warm welcome from our host. My son opted for the roast chicken, which was gargantuan! I had the beef which was cooked to perfection! All served with seasonal veg, Yorkshire puds and lashings of gravy. A side of cauliflower cheese made the dish complete. We left completely full to the brim and needed a lie down (Laugh out loud). Definitely will return next time I visit my son. Highly recommend!

Sunday roast 3 stars … not rare… Yorkshire pudding are frozen kind. Roast potatoes soft not crispy at all. Service 5 star ⭐️ definitely come back. Onion rings to die for !

Cracking place in East Putney. Buzzing atmosphere with lots of friendly, very attentive staff who are happy to serve you. Mixed crowd, mainly single sex groups and loads of sitting space across three levels. Decent draught beer selection along side some unusual, local beers. Loved this place and will certainly be back here again.

Great Sunday Roast. The dry aged steak runs out quickly. The branch is also very delicious. Love the atmosphere and the friendly staff.
